"I called to place an order for pick up. Asked how much was a large tripe soup with rice, lady said $14 but I couldn?t place the order I had to go to the restaurant. I go to the restaurant, my order is ready and she said I have to pay $21. ??? What!! wewent back and forth and I reminded her that I was the person she spoke to over the phone. But the funny part is when I said Iwas not paying $21 for a tripe soup and a small rice. She said ?but we already warmed up the soup for you? ??? Lol It?s not EVENMADE TODAY!? I definitely don?t want it now. SELLING ME A SOUP WHO KNOWS HOW OLD IT IS FOR $21. I walked over to LiberatoRestaurant on 183rd Jerome ave. They charged me $13 ; (by the way, I am aware that restaurant food can be there for days I wasjust being extra for her trying to rip me off."

"lI've eaten lunch on 3 separate occasions, and every time, I got the same results. They serve leftovers as a lunch special. Food was extremely salty, especially Pollo guisado. Waitresses will serve you lunch size meals and charge you for price. It is not your traditional Dominican food. Ask for prices before being served because they will overcharge. The owner was present and wasn't concerned about how bad the food."

"My only complaint is that I ordered Rice Pudding, but they sent me Bread Pudding instead. Also, I wish they would season the Chicharron a little more - at least some salt should be added. However, the Chicharron was very good, with a nice crispy skin and tender meat. It wasn't overly greasy like other places that serve chunks of fat. The yucca was well-cooked, but it was missing onions. Overall, a good dining experience."

The beans was just a cup of water flavored beans, the pork chops we orderedseems to had been fried in dirty fish oil plus the were so dry and had a spoiled smell to them, we didn?t take no chances anddecided to throw all of this food out, $45 bucks later and we are still hungry and have to look for another place to order somedecent food! I would never ever go back to this place even if the food was free !!!!! Do yourself a favor and save your money?what a horrible experience."

"my man and I visited orlando on our slumber week and we came here to get a bite. my man recently moved her from the Dominican Republic and he missed his familiar food. we really enjoyed the experience. we had the chivo guisado (sweden goats) who came with rice, bor and salat and it was delicious! the presidents (beer) were good and cold (been fría) and the service was excellent!"

"I absolutely adore this restaurant that is open 24/7! The food here is always freshly prepared, although it may take a little time to be ready. The empanadas are large and packed with flavor, and the sauce is amazing! My favorite is the Chicken Cheese empanada. The Patacone is also delicious! I personally prefer the chicken over the steak. I suggest calling ahead for pick-up, but they also offer delivery services."

"I eat here a couple times a month. My family is Puerto Rican, so this is a go-to for birthday dinners mother’s/father’s day such. I’m surprised at how many people don’t know about this place. Owner(s) are Dominicans that came to Philly from New York and if you know anything about Latin food in NYC you know it’s top notch. I’m simple and usually just get the arroz amarillo con carne but I tried the shrimp the other night and it was excellent."
