"At a first glance, Don Tacha 's seemed like a really nice, quaint taco shop! I wanted SO BAD to like it! Unfortunately, after receiving our food, it was immediately noticed by my wife and I that the asada appeared old. We proceeded to remain optimistic, only to confirm our initial suspicion. The meat was old and tasted freezer burned. After a couple of bites, my wife and I decided to conclude our lunch. I took our plates up to the counter and explained to the gentlemen of our hapless experience. He proceeded to attempt to convince me that the freezer burned flavor is a smoked flavor and that I must not like the smoky flavor. I continued to state that I know what smoked meat taste like and that it did not taste smoky, it tasted FREEZER BURNED! He said he didn 't know what freezer burned meant. I explained the definition to no avail. I wanted to give Don Tacha 's a chance at redemption by at least offering me my money back, as I returned nearly 95% of the food. To my dismay, our visit did not end that way. I was prepared to deny the refund in light of such a professional gesture. Instead, this gentleman was disingenuously apologetic and invited me back on Saturday to enjoy discounts on micheladas. Obviously I do not plan on returning to Don Tacha 's in the foreseeable future. I 'll end with this tidbit of advice: Don Tacha 's...more like Don 't Touch-a this food with the most unrefined palate! Sorry, that was a dad joke ."
