"Cafe Athena is a clean, no-frills, laid-back Greek restaurant on the eastern edge of Pacific Beach. They have great Tzatziki and Skordalia. I really enjoyed the Greek salad and the gyro as well. The place was recently remodeled and the interior is really nice now. The atmosphere was cool and chill as well. The downside was the lack of people working. We had some trouble flagging down a waiter although there weren’t many people in the restaurant. I think the staff may be new, and the restaurant may be understaffed, which isn’t really surprising now during the pandemic."
