"We stumbled upon a new restaurant that caught our eye, so we decided to give it a try. We initially thought it was an Indian restaurant, but it turned out to offer cuisine from Bangladesh, Pakistan, and India. While the menu was not extensive and lacked a wide variety of vegetarian/vegan options, the dishes we tried were all excellent. The appetizers, including samosas and pakoras, were top-notch, with delicious chutney sauces. One unique dish we tried was futchkas, which were small seasoned potato balls that we had never seen before. The daal, a common Indian dish, was exceptional and perhaps the best we had ever tasted. The naan bread complemented the meal perfectly. Our entrees, sweet biryani and mixed vegetables, were also delicious and tasted like homemade dishes rather than typical Indian restaurant fare. Despite the limited vegetarian options, the prices were very affordable, with all dishes costing less than $8. The service was excellent and the staff were friendly, showing that it is a family-owned business. We were the only customers (an hour before closing), so we received attentive service. The menu mentioned an all-you-can-eat buffet during certain hours, but we cannot comment on the vegetarian options available. Overall, we were impressed with the food and service and will definitely be back, especially since we are frequently in Danbury."
