"I have only ever been motivated to write a one-star review once before, for a USPS branch. That being said, my recent experience at Il Me Jung left much to be desired. I visited with two friends on a Thursday evening and found the portion sizes to be substantial, but the prices to be on the higher side. We ordered three dishes, which were overall okay, but one dish had soggy cabbage with a strange texture. The service was lacking, as we were given only two sauce trays for three people and had difficulty flagging down the server for water refills. When it came time to pay, the server reacted negatively when we asked to split the bill three ways, making us feel uncomfortable. Despite tipping 20%, the server later realized she had forgotten to charge for one dish and insisted on receiving a tip for it. Her reaction to our refusal to tip on that one dish was unprofessional, as she visibly displayed her disappointment. Overall, the average meal with mediocre service left us feeling undervalued, especially considering the server's reaction to a small oversight. I would recommend only visiting this restaurant if you're in need of an experience that is somehow worse than a bad day."
