"We were just in for lunch I do not normally write reviews but I felt like I had to give recognition where recognition is due. This was our first time here and we will definitely be back! Food was outstanding and we loved the ambiance of the place. Almost felt like you were at home : Our server was Vanessa if I could have her be my waitress wherever I go, I would! She was greeted us with a warm smile that you could tell was genuine. She immediately acknowledged our three year old daughter (always a plus when the children aren't ignored! and made her a new best friend. Everything we ordered came out as it should and she made sure to check back multiple times to see if we needed anything. The restaurant was packed and she seemed to have a lot of tables, but we never felt like our needs were not met. Cannot wait to come back for more!"

"So usually I give small holes in the wall restaurants like this a good chance, but unfortunately I can't with this, the fries tasted like fish burgers themselves was good, but the bread and vegetables or soggy totally disappointed especially since their name is Great American Hamburger. But of course I ate it all because I spent over $20 for it and everything I got was Burger and Pommes and a drink I wouldn't recommend this place."

"The Chilaquiles are my favorite. Only that you have to be very specific on how you want your eggs. Noticed twice now that they come slightly overcooked. With that said, I've always been cooked new set right away, the staff is very good and attentive."
"This is your typical good food diner. Nothing fancy or special about it but it tastes good and fills you up. The steak in the steak and eggs comes as a patty rather than actual steak meat. Its still tasty but i have no idea how much of it is steak meat and how much of what else is in it. Everything else is pretty standard. We have tons of breakfast places in Chicago and most all of them are decent. The food is good. What else can I say?"

"My experience at george’s was awful. Half of my group where people of color and we felt as though our service was drastically different because of it. My party had to wait at least 20 minutes compared to the other white patrons around us, and when our food finally arrived it was inedible and disgusting. Then at the end of our meal we received the wrong bill, and when receiving the correct bill and attempting to pay the owner of the restaurant tried to swindle us out of cash when paying!!
