"It is regrettable that this institution should be regarded as mediocre. The beer (on tap) was quite good and local while the food was tasteful and freshly cooked. However, the proportions were too small and overpriced. What you see here total about $70, intends to feed 2 adults and 2 children. On Google, the proposal was similar to Dinosaur BBQ (NYC), and Rodney Scotts (SC) did not. Although tasteful, again we were very disappointed by the small portions compared to their price tags. We ordered two children chicken dishes (picture), which contain two sides and a drink. Her meals had 2 baked pre-frozen chicken strips (which were not cooked thru), both had an apple sauce and a capri sun, while you came with a 1⁄2 ear of corn and the other with a 2 Oz container of Mac Cheese. My 8-year-old children were not impressed and were still hungry. For my husband and me we had a meal for two (or at least we thought it). It came with three meats and two regular pages for about $40, and we ordered two beers (a local on ****, the other one budlight in a can). Regular pages were only about 4 ounces (corresponding to a 1⁄2 cup anything). We had the Mac Cheese (taste and texture was that the pan cooked) without taste and the Potato Salad was quite delicious, as well as the maize bread. For meat, we had the 3 region tour, the smoked turkey (excellent), brisket (excellent), and dark meat chicken (also excellent) all portions were just too small for an adult, let alone two adults. Just disappointed. Finally, the employees who have helped us decide on our order were most friendly and knowledgeable about the offers. This made us feel good at the environment and the choice. We just want them to come with the portion sizes. Unfortunately, we will not return."
