"We have passed by this restaurant many times and hardly ever see people dining there. There was only one table occupied a couple of times. Today, we were the second table, while another table left at 2:00 pm on Wednesday. The service was very slow, but the server was knowledgeable about vegan options, and the food was delicious. We ordered samosas, momos, and Nepalese daal, and everything was amazing! We stayed for over half an hour, but we were not in a rush."

"I visited this peaceful, tranquil restaurant on my way back to Philadelphia. I found both the service and the food to be excellent. The hostess was friendly, considerate, and attentive. The food was fantastic, as expected. The Everest momos were a delightful surprise. Imagine one of the best Chinese dumplings you've ever had, with a soft, warm, flavorful wrapper; then fill it with curried chicken, and dip it in a rich, earthy, deep orange-colored sauce. Delicious!"

"I sung her to the birthday of a friend, and I really like everything. as fan of huh tikka masala I decided to expand my palate on newer things. I tried this new court called murgh makhani, and I thought it would be pretty good, especially with a side of jasmine reis. They also have some beautiful margaritas that made me feel. comfortable. they're all so over in wellesley when you feel a little Indian tonight."

"This is my favorite Indian restaurant (so far) in Louisville. The vegetable korma was smooth and creamy with a nice kick, and the baingan bharatha was packed with flavor and ginger aroma. This place definitely has the best naan, with the garlic naan being VERY generous with garlic, and the aloo naan being soft and fluffy. Prices are comparable to other Indian restaurants. 5 stars!"

"I was a little wary to try Kathmandu because I was worried all of the food would be spicy, but I was gladly proven wrong. The food has amazing flavor and nothing is too spicy unless you order it that way. I want to have the goat curry every day of my life!!! The menu looked like it took pictures off the internet to show what the food may look like, so when you got your meal it looked different, but I didn't mind once I tasted it. I thought it was fun to be adventurous in a city that is known for their meat and potatoes."

"Good food, Good portions, lovely owners. The owner came out and talked to me, they had bunch of people waiting to be seated (which is always a good sign in a restaurant) and people came in and out pretty quickly as well. We ordered mostly their Nepalese side of cuisine. Their momo?s, chicken choila and goat butna. Speaking of the momos, it was hand made from the scratch. They have various momo selection. We did try the Chilly momos, regular steamed and fried. Chilly (obviously) was tad bit spicy but very flavorful. The sauce that came with the regular steamed momo?s were different but different good. It hit the right spot. Chicken choila was good as well. Not very impressed with the goat dish. Maybe, just koz I am not too much into goat dishes. Must try spot especially for their momos."

"Stopped in tonight to get dinner for me and my pops. I got the Palak Paneer one level below the spiciest which was excellent and had a great flavor and good spice. I got dad the Tandoori chicken with medium spice and he loved it. I'm pretty sure he's never had Indian food before. Great new spot close to home, will definitely go again. I spoke with Raphael who I believe may have been the owner he was a really nice guy it sounds like he has a lot of really great ideas for the restaurant. They have a 895 lunch buffet and they also have a side bar restaurant that's going to center around traditional Mexican tacos and quesadillas basically comfort food off to the right when you walk in that he said they were thinking about keeping open late for late-night grub. Anyway check it out, I was happy with the food and the prices were reasonable."

"India is a huge country. Each region has their own fabulous tastes. The Clay Oven represents India's Nepalese region. The flavors are unique and delicious! Afraid of hot food? No worries! They adjust it for the wuss in me and the heat my husband loves. We've had the buffet lunch on weekends- a great way to sample multiple dishes and introduce yourself to this type of Indian cuisine. And we have truly enjoyed the beautiful painted decor and soft lighting for an intimate dinner for just the two of us. We highly recommend The Clay Oven to foodies. Be adventurous! Try it tonight!"

"the escaped when they arrived were excellent, but 40 minutes waiting for eating prep? only two parties in the restaurant for time. but real sodburning was charged $13.95 for a basket of saag paneer that we did not order. when the server placed the basket on our table during the long waiting period, we thought it was a free offer. not as we learned when the bill arrived. I do not return to restaurants that add and calculate items not ordered, and I would not recommend this restaurant."
