"My sister lives in Mineral Point and that's the first time I ate the Gray Dog Deli. I saw an article that said they had one of the best reuben sandwiches, so I had to have one since I loved her. The marble bread is homemade and delicious! The beef was tender and juicy. I can honestly say it's one of the best I had. The side of the pasta salad was fresh and tasteful. They close early for a private party and the owner came with a tablet of cookies and offered each of us a contract. I took one of their gluten-free oatmeal peanut butter chocolate chip cookies (hope I have the long name right). It was chewing mouth water. A great way to finish my meal. I'll be back next time in town."

"Stopped in about 4 pm for a late lunch/early dinner while in town for a few days. Had pony shoes (bread, meat, french fries covered in cheese sauce) which were pretty good. Place was not busy at that time of day. Waitress/bartender was friendly, polite and provided prompt service. Would go back if in the area again."
