"This is a lovely hidden gem. The service was excellent, and the food was fresh and delicious. The restaurant is clean and well-kept, with a spacious outdoor seating area. Make sure to try the hot cocoa, as well as the ham and chocolate chip pancakes - they are a must. Overall, everything was really satisfying."

"Appears short staffed, like many places these days unfortunately. The supposed home made margaritas were a bowl of sugar and served in a beer glass. Come on....a supposed authentic ethnic restaurant should have at least right drinking glasses. Salsa and chip appetizer very Taco Bell-like. Pretty good fish tacos and ok enchiladas. Nothing really memorable so will explore other Mexican restaurants"

"Party of four with reservations for the patio. Seated right away with chips and salsa. Patio very comfortable with plenty of space between tables and lots of patio heaters. Large menu selection with very reasonable prices. I had Chili Verde plate which was delicious and nice and spicy. My wife had the Chili rellano which was good; we're still searching for the best chili rellano in our area. Service was prompt and friendly. $50 per couple with one margarita and one soft drink and two dinners. We will definitely be back. Returned again and had another great dinner. I had the same dish, again delicious. My wife had the shrimp tacos which were outstanding. Service was great."

"total descent location. will be going back. they like to borrow. Although I asked for black drilling in my burrito, they gave them boring. I was actually surprised how the burrito was still. very large portions, so it is worth the money. the service might have been a little better, but was not bad. menu has lots of options. also for children."

"This place is close to my house, and offered decent Mexican food when I wanted. Despite issues, the food was decent so I continued to go multiple times. Until the experience I had this week. They made a mistake with their online menu, so it was shocking to me when I got home and was a taco short. I called to discuss and had the phone handed to who I assume was the manager? As a manger in a customer facing role myself, this is not how you handle mistakes. I was told it was a typo, and they were working on fixing the fact that their menu advertised 4 tacos, I expected 4 but it should only be 3. She didn?t offer a solution other than ?sorry?. No extra taco like I expected for THEIR mistake, no credit, just literally nothing but to tell me how to order it next time. There won?t be a next time. That?s not how you do business. Taco Nest down the street is is for me."

"Literally the worse tacos I've ever had in my life...and that is saying A LOT! I had carnitas. Carnitas are meant to be flavorful, tender, pulled pork. I had dry, flavorless, cubes of fat with 1/4 of chopped onions. I examined the cubes, and 60-70% was nothing but PURE FAT, not even a sign of actual meat. The guac was 65% onion, the green salsa was devoid of flavor and was a bright green color which was alarming. Atmosphere was cold and barren and rather dirty to be honest. I've been eating Mexican food for 50 years, being born in San Diego and raised in LA...but even compared to the Mexican offerings in Ireland and London where I lived for 15 years, this ranks BELOW. "I had tried Grinders Stonewall only once before, when we had Philly's delivered (which were awesome). This was my first time eating there at the restaurant, and I loved it! The atmosphere is great. The outdoor area looks amazing I want to come back when it's not so hot out. We ate inside. The place was hopping, but we still got seated immediately, served promptly, and our orders came out quickly. I ordered a Flight, so I could sample all 4 of Grinders beers, and they were all tasty. And I had the Mixon sandwich (they smoke the brisket right there, you smell it as soon as you walk in). It was delicious! I wish I could remember our servers' name, because she was excellent. I'll definitely be back!"
