The carte du jour offers a nice variety of traditional Italian dishes and daily specials certain to please even the most discriminating palate. Six nights of the week, a pianist tickles the ivories on the Baby Grand in the bar, adding a melodious dimension to further enhance your dining experience; music that never imposes on even the most subdued dinner table tête-à-tête. The young lady at the keyboard plays popular and classical music and everything in between extremely well. La Bistro has headed my list of moderately priced Italian restaurants in the Mid Cities for more than a decade. A great location for a special dinner date!"
