"The food wasn't great, but it was edible.We paid for the all-you-can-eat option that included the nigiri sushi. We first got the sushi and I was a bit worried. The fish wasn't fresh at all and looked dried out. The sushi rice was overseasoned with vinegar and much too sour. The rolls were cut unevenly and came apart easily when using chopsticks. The miso soup and seaweed salad tasted store-bought, like the pre-made stuff you'd get at a Restaurant Depot. The only thing my wife and I enjoyed was the salmon skin salad, where the salmon skin was at least crispy.In terms of ambiance, it was darkly lit inside but you could tell the interior was run down and the owner didn't put much time in upkeep and appearance. The only bright spot was that the server was very attentive and pleasant."

"First timers here and we were blown away! My kids wanted sushi (and not just the fresh stuff from HEB . They wanted REAL sushi at a nice place, so we indulged here, due to friends mentioning it and recent reviews read. We were impressed with the fresh (and copious amounts food and incredible wait staff. We had a super kind waitress with glasses and braces, as she was SO gracious and quick! It was fairly full in the restaurant, but plenty of staff (all very kind, quick, nice . We ordered the bimbipap (sp rice bowl with meat/veggies, the spicy ramen, the yakisoba w/shrimp (LOTS of shrimp! and the yakisoba (Udon noodle with meat. All terrific, fresh and ...just awesome! We got there just before 6pm (happy hour 4 6pm and ordered some sushi quickly for the kids....SO good and inexpensive! Such a great deal on price for such great food! Make sure to tip your nice waitress at least 25% (ours was SO quick and attentive!"

"A simple order for two different sushi rolls. When I came home, I noticed I was short. It looked like the cheaper ones I missed. It was late and I called without answer. The next day I called and there was no answer for seven minutes. The next day I called the lady when the manger is here. I went in and he started talking, you waited long. Why didn't you take a picture? I'm a picture of the confusing food? He said call 911. I've been going in there since they opened up. Once or twice a month. I asked him, do you think I'm trying to cheat you out of a $10 roll? SM I'm not back."

"The food at this restaurant is delicious and reasonably priced. The service from the servers was great overall, but we did encounter an issue. My daughter had ordered her ramen without sprouts, but her bowl came with sprouts. Despite trying to eat around them, we eventually asked for a new bowl without sprouts. The staff kindly obliged, but we were surprised to find that we were charged for the new bowl. When we asked for the original bowl back since we were being charged anyway, we were given just a small package of noodles with no broth or other toppings."

"disappoint. halfway through a series of tempo, I am in a piece with un fenced teig in the middle. he asked the waiter who realized it wasn't right. offer to make a new order of tempoura for us (how much can they eat? but we ordered a sashimi. happy to pay for the sashimi, but the tempoura was still on the bill. If asked, the waiter explained as they had eaten the half of the order, we calculate them for the order. I said I wouldn't bite into a piece of raw dough until we were halfway through the job. it was not satisfactory and we should not have been accused. the nigger himself was not particularly good, which alone would be a reason not to return. but decent customer service is the lower line, and the understanding if a customer is unhappy with an order should be sufficient reason to withdraw the order from the bill."

"It’s a little overrated. Presentation is nice. The wings are tasty and the spicy chicken udon is not so bad. But beef ramen was less than mediocre. They also add a 18% gratuity, even though we were a party of 4 and an infant baby. Which I would have been fine with if they were actually tentative. We had to ask for water, and chopsticks etc. It was not so crowded but maybe they were understaffed. The korean music was a little loud with the tv on and flashy images. The staff was nice in general but I just think the food flavor and price isn’t matching."

"I ABSOLUTELY love Wasabi! I became a fan when they still had a shop inside Penn Station. In fact, for about a solid month, I was.... Well, I was addicted to the Chicken Katsu with Vegetable Curry and Lentil Rice. (I'm recovering well, tho) This place is always SUPER clean and presentation is always neat-I cannot tell you how much I appreciate this. For this reason, this will always be a personal staple and an introduction piece to anyone visiting the city for the first time."

"Waiting is there but we just sat outside it was warm with the heater on, the staff were so Kind and kept checking on us every 15 min. We ordered 6 items which were all 5/5 so good, so flavorful they have it as extra spicy but it wasnt really spicy for me as I eat extremely spicy food. My fav was spicy scallion chicken it was sweet tender and perfect. One bowl of ramen or udon will fill you up to the brim. So worth it, very chill ambience.
