"We tried KoJa for the first time and we absolutely loved it. We decided on a chicken dish, which had a flavorful spicy gochujang sauce as a key ingredient. This sauce was present in most of the dishes and added a nice kick without being too overpowering. We also tried the optional fried egg, which was just okay. The kimchi and greens were a bit too cold for our liking, so we recommend they be served at room temperature for a better experience. Despite this, we are eager to go back and try more dishes at KoJa."

"Went to Koja Kitchen for the first time. It was not crowded at all. Should have taken that as a sign of upcoming utter disappointment. Went to order, told the lady that we are here for the first time, to help us with the order. Which she didn't even bother to do. So we place the oder and spent $50. When our food came it was cold, the chicken was cold. I told her that my food was cold. She came up with all the useless and senseless excuses. One was that I must have added the sauce that is why the chicken got cold. I said I didn't even touch the sauce yet. So I stopped there and took only 4 bites. And same my we left our entire food in the tray and throw it. I was so excited to go after reading the reviews. Great disappointment!! Never ever again!! I wish I could get my money back or rewind the time and go to a better place that never disappoints like Habit Burger or The Kabab Shop!"

"Kitchen Istanbul is a gem in the Inner Richmond neighborhood. Excellent food with a good mix for both meat eaters and vegetarians. My friend and I shared several appetizers this time and found them all yummy! My favorite was the grilled shrimp with shishito peppers and of course the Meze trio of spreads with their outstanding pita bread. Interesting selection of wines that pair well with the food. The people who work here are really nice and knowledgeable about the food too. I like how the tables are spaced so that you don't feel like you're on top of other diners too. Makes for good ambiance."

"2 stars because the food was good. I don 't know if we caught them on a bad day, but there 's 0 customer service. They didn 't greet us when we walked in, they brought us our food and didn 't say anything, no goodbye, thank you for coming . As weird as it sounds but I 've had better service from Wienersnitzel. We stood there for 5 minutes before we realized we were supposed to order from a screen that was off to the side. I chalked up to bad timing but others were greeted and rung up and questions answered. I won 't be back. The food was good but not good enough for me to come back and possibly be subject to that again."

"Pretty reasonable servings for the price, and still tasted great. My boyfriend and I ordered the braised pork bowl and short rib bowl combos with the two different specialty fries they serve. It was quite tasty and very filling! The food came out quicklywith minimal wait times."

"Just dropped by for lunch, let's start from the beginning: the ordering process was pretty normal and smooth, the cashier guy had some problems with the receipt machine but it was all good in the end we ordered 3 things: short rib bowl, braised pork bowl, and the umami fries, it took about 15 min to be ready which was relatively quick since there were plenty of people before us in line the food itself was really good! the portions were pretty filling and worth it for the price, the seasoning and sauce was on point, we had no problems with any of the food. the braised pork was cooked really well and had a crispy outside. my favorite was the umami fries they were sooo good overall i would definitely come again!"

"Their chicken sandwiches....let me just tell you. My boyfriend and I walked into a retail store down the street with out sandwiches and someone immediately stopped us and asked for the restaurant we got these from. They are some of the best sandwiches EVER. My boyfriend and I are constantly coming back for them. Fresh, delicious, and quick! I love this place."
