"At Matteo's Howard Beach last night for our anniversary dinner. Let me tell you it was the best meal we had in a while!!! My husband started with the Lobster Bisque soup he said has beautiful lobster food in. I started with the Matteo-Chopped salad that just fed 4 people as an appetizer. Then we split the bucatini carbonara and the veal Milanese special, washed with a bottle of Riesling. I wish I renamed my waiter, he was really a gem, big heart and loved his job. Our glass was never empty, our records were never empty, got the whole waiting staff to sing about a Pistachio tartufo for the happy anniversary. We loved the table service and hospitality. The only drawback was that there was a party at the top and we could hear the muffled music about the music that wanted to play in the thinning room. Definitely won? We can't stop coming back."
