"I have been a loyal customer of this restaurant since the 90s. The service used to be consistently good, but my most recent order through Grubhub was disappointing. I did not receive the plastic silverware, extra bread, or Italian dressing that I had requested. They also no longer provide parmesan cheese or cracked red pepper with meals. I would be willing to pay extra for these items if they were on the menu. Not receiving them really affected my dining experience."

"This is one cafe where you can have a normal (non-American) size breakfast that appears healthy until you see the little muffin as a standard side. "I recently had one of the best experiences at a chain restaurant in a while. The staff was extremely friendly and welcoming, and the food was delicious. I particularly enjoyed the nicely cooked steak I ordered. In my opinion, this restaurant is better than Outback. The service was attentive and the salad bar was decent. I do wish they still served the pumpernickel bread with honey butter, but that was a long time ago. Nevertheless, this is a fantastic spot for a delicious meal and excellent service."

"The first time at Decorah and we stopped at lunch in Mabe's. The hotel is located in a very beautiful city centre. My group shared a BBQ chicken pizza and a Taco Supreme Pizza. Both were very good. Several American selection on the menu, burger, chicken, pizza, etc.... The customer next to us had chicken and it looked and smells wonderful. All service staff were helpful and friendly. Will definitely turn on again!!"

"This place is a jewel. You have good food. I loved everything I tried. The fried chicken is great. It has taste! If you want the fried chicken special on Wed night, make sure to make a reservation. The Calamari is not your typical Calamari. It is freshly made and in strips. Hands down, the best Calamari I ever had (and I get it many places). The staff is really friendly. "The staff was SO friendly that in a city full of friendly people they still stood out.We did the breakfast buffet for $16/person and it was totally worth it. All the staples of a good buffet and it was cooked well! The bacon and sausage particularly stood out to me.I also ordered a pineapple juice that I think was mixed with Sprite or something because it was a little fizzy and very sweet. But on a morning when it was 90+ degrees outside it was much needed.I'd definitely recommend!"
