"I read through a lot of the reviews and decided to give this a try. Weeks went by and as I was driving into cove and pulled right in to the parking lot. When I opened my door I was met with this breath taking smell of hawaiian bbq. Walking into throughthe front door I was immediately greeted not only by staff but the huge menu too. After studying the menu I decided on thenumber 2 for myself which included, a pork rib, chicken katsu, rice and macaroni salad . My husband also got a number two butwith brisket, kalua pork and a double salad. He enjoyed his plate a lot! The salad was crispy and fresh, the pork and brisketwere super tender and flavorful. As for mine...katsu was nicely breaded and crunchy, the rib was fall off the bone (literally)but the sauce had an acidic background but not a lot of flavor. My sides were rice, which is fluffy and sticky. On it was a typeof teriyaki sauce and wow it was good!! The other was macaroni salad which had a creamy texture but again no flavor. I alsoordered 1 egg role and 1 spam musubi. The egg roll I feel was like something you get when you order chinese and the musubi wasmeh. The musubi rice to meat ratio was way off and the meat was barely on the other side of cooked. Honestly this place has thepotential to be good just have to add seasoning to some stuff. I will be back for the katsu for sure."
