"This diner is fantastic! It's clean, respected, and overall very pleasant. The omelette could have had a bit more bacon, but the service was extremely quick and the portion size was perfect. "Hi! My name is Camille and I visited John’s for the first time today! I am not from the state of New Jersey. I was traveling and starving so as I was going back to DC, I saw this store and decided to give it a try! I wanted to say that this place exceeded my expectations and more! The lady at the front (Caucasian lady) greeted me with a smile and even complimented my scent. She was so kind, warm and pleasant. She took my order very swiftly and got my sandwich done in 10 minutes. My food was hot, fresh and delicious! She even brought my order out to my car! I don’t know who the owner is if this establishment, but I will say that this place will definitely prevail as they treat their customers with respect and care! "Light experience: I made my grandmother's birthday tonight. We ordered pasta dishes, Calamari and children pasta dishes for my children. They brought out the children of Pasta and our salads. About 40 minutes after, they're bringing us to go boxes without ever our entrees or our appetizers. At this point, we decided that we did not want the duck because he had taken so long, so we asked that our bill is only for what we have. The waiter refused and told us we had to take the food either at the table or go in boxes. I repeated myself and he told me again that we didn't have a choice and that we had to take it and asked me how we wanted it. I asked if it was ready, and he said it was and I said we would take it to go. We sat there and waited for 10 minutes to finally bring the food in boxes? They forgot our food and forced us to pay for the food we didn't want anymore, and were totally rude, because there were 3 women and children, and he knew that he could scare us."

"when I arrived at the restaurant that is in a shopping center, it seemed to be a regular pizzeria from the outside. I won't lie, I gave him my side eye. I went to a bar/pizzeria in front. it was lively, the bar had only a few places available. the main dining room is only in front and another room that is used as room for private functions. I was sitting in the main kitchen room that was quite empty. the waiter, andrew came by and began to serve immediately. he was brilliant and gave food recommendations. I ordered this Cannellini bean soup he suggested and it was phenomenal, the lobster ravioli sound and a glass reisling and my data had spaghetti and meatballs. overall it was a good time, I had rest and it was even tastier the next day."

"Please Read This!I’ve been going to this bagel spot for a while. Friendly Kitchen Staff with inexperienced cashiers. Keep in mind that each condiment is an additional $0.50. So lettuce tomatoes will total up to $1.00 alone, not counting the Sandwich itself..When you charge for condiments forget to add them. Especially when some of us don’t live in Queens but happen to pass by this spot. PLEASE remember to check your entire sandwich to make sure everything is added.I had told the Register lady in glasses that my previous sandwich had no condiments on it I was charged. I had asked for a discount on my next sandwich. Maybe don’t charge me for the minor stuff like lecture tomato..Lady: because it was on a different day. It’s not our problem. You need to call us on that day..Meanwhile I had paid for this previous Sandwich using cash. How would calling fix this issue? Especially when I’m all the way in the city where I work? What is calling gonna do? You charged me for something I never got..it’s not there problem I’ve been told I don’t have to go there to eat I’ve been told. Instead of knocking a few cents off my new sandwich because they screwed up on the last, they prefer to stand there ground tell me that I can go somewhere else.. Gotchu.."

"We paid 47$ (paid cash) for a panini, a lax cream cheese bagel, large iced cappuccino, chocolate cookie and a muffin. At the cashier I was shocked but paid because I thought it is what it is. After 5 mins I walked up to the cashier to ask about the price, and he recalculated around the same price again. I left the place but I could not stop wondering, so I recalculated and according to their signs it should have been 36$.So I just got scamed from a bagel shop."

"Let me just start with the food being great. When I called tonight to order our dinner, I was told they wouldn't deliver to my address. I quickly gogled and confirmed that they are only 4 minutes and less than 2 miles away. I knew they had delivered us on previous occasions. I called back to ask about it, thought it was a wrong communication, but they said they did not deliver to my postal code (18974). The person who took my call (very professional and nice btw) said it was the manager's lead, so I asked to talk to them. I was in the hands of 15 minutes in what time I had gone to the restaurant and back, but they do not accept pickup. I waited for the manager and ordered from Maggio. You must have lost a customer!"

"Finally had the pleasure of stopping in and meeting JR himself. Restaurant itself is adorable with a comfortable decor. There are several spots for outdoor seating as well.We had several items ranging from pasta to Stromboli and everything was delicious. The garlic bread and soup was a pleasant opener, full of flavor and had us eager for the main course.For entrees we did a meat lover Stromboli. I was amazed at the texture and flavor of the dough. The side of red sauce to dip the meat stuffed roll of deliciousness in was the perfect combination. We then moved onto the mixed seafood pasta. This was the highlight of the evening. Clams, shrimp and mussels swam in a wine and garlic oil sauce that complemented rather than over whelmed the flavor of the seafood.As a third we had the chicken parm. This was flavorful and hit all the right spots for comfort food.Next time we will come back for the pizza and hot sandwiches."
