"This is the new Sabai Thai (will dub it Sabai Thai II) as it now owned by the former owner of Sabai Thai (on Hypoloxo). After she left Sabai Thai, it's so bad that we stopped going. Anyway, she couldn't just retire after she had sold her old place and had made her own thing that she had bought Haos and had brought back some of her employees. Tgis is the reason why quality has risen. We didn't know, so we were totally surprised when we were recognized as their former males. So, definitely a great place to eat. Great service. Great food. Yes, I wish she had the capital to renovate, but don't leave the decorated decoration away. Great people, great food."

"I ordered a rainbow roll mango sticky rice last night, it was perfect. Ordered three rolls that were a total joke tipped big got ripped off. Can?t help but be MORE than frustrated with this. I absolutely feel ripped off. I paid WAY too much for what I got I said DO NOT PUT GINGER ON ANY OFF THE PLATES, I?m allergic to it. And, they put it on every plate. Just so frustrated. I know not even worth bothering calling to complain, they don?t care. But, had to express my frustration somehow. You can see this difference in the pictures. Just wow! So mad!!"

"Ginger Thai is a favorite of ours. Their spring rolls are better than every other we have tried (and we have tried too many). Their servings are large enough to share. We have never been disappointed with the different entrées. Our last meal was fried rice with pork and pineapple. So delicious! And, they recently remodeled. The lime green booths are cheerful and comfortable. This restaurant is a hidden gem!"

"The best Thai. I have been going here since 1994, and it is the best Thai food I have ever had, the menu is huge, the Pud Thai is the best, well, there is a place in Federal Hill in Baltimore MD that might be a bit better, but, all the dishes, soups, Rolls, everything, fantastic and in giant portions, you can request them to make dishes or alterations to what you see and they will, and have it made any spice range you want, from no spice at all to crazy hot, the best sauces I have had. Love it!!"

"Overall, a decent food Thai food, which is very expensive. Fast service with better than average Thai food. Spiciness was a little underwhelming. Mean spicy (3/5) hardly had a kick. Maybe I should have asked for max. Eggplant with chicken was my favorite dish, although a bit oily. Pad Thai was decent, but not the best in Houston. Frog legs were delicious with its sweet sauce. I do not recommend their fried coconut shrimps, as there was no coconut flavor. Their range of white rice was dried and boiled."

"We had a great lunch here on a beautiful day. The patio is beautiful and cozy, the food is perfect, and our host/server was so kind. For lunch, they served a salad first that had amazing peanut dressing on it, and the lunch portions were perfect. The outside patio has always peaked our interest, so we're glad we finally stopped by. The woman working was super nice, and even joked and was kind to us when we literally accidentally dumped over all of the waters on our tables! It made us feel a lot better for being d I got the drunken noodle, medium spicy, and really enjoyed the noodles and will love coming back here! I'm glad we finally tried them out!"

"The beef and chicken here is halal and that's the greatest. The restaurant was beautiful and peaceful. The staff was very friendly, helpful and the food was delicious. I tried my son's orange chicken and it was the best Ive ever had. The chicken was slightly crispy and soft and moist in the middle. So good. My wife had a chicken with rice plate and I tried crab fried rice for the first time. The soup was very good and the egg rolls were perfect. My finicky son loved them.Everything was delicious. The portions were a good size so we couldn't finish our food. The Thai tea was a first for me and it was a beautiful color and tasted great.The only reason we didn't take a to go box was because we were traveling a lot that day and the food would be sitting in the car for a while. I sensed a slight disappointment from the servers because we didn't want a to go box. ?. Great place. When back in Houston we plan to visit again."

"I stopped by today for a to go order of summer rolls. I had not had them them in quite a long time, and my memory served me correctly. I will be back because while I was there someone ordered the Sizzling Platter and I must try! The gentleman that helped me was more than helpful for my simple order and told me to make myself at home while I waited. I was impressed and can't wait for my next visit."

"I had never had Thai food prior to my 30 's with the exception of a trip to Georgia. Clearly the good people of Georgia can do some things well, but Thai is not one of them. River Thai was not my first experience with this food, but it was the best. I went here on the recommendation of a Chiropractor who had a friend who was a huge foodie. That foodie told the Chiropractor that River Thai had the best Thai food he had ever eaten and it surpassed any other placed by far. My favorite dish is the Pad Thai. it is fantastic, regardless of your choice of protein. I enjoy the curry puff appetizer. They are more than accommodating with the spice levels from not at all up to oh my God, why did I ask for this? I have never had a bad meal there. My wife, who has eaten far more Thai food than I have also has said that no one makes better Pad Thai. While I have primarily eaten in the restaurant, we have ordered take out from time to time. We have always picked up when ordering take out. The restaurant is clean inside, if not a little small, but it doesn 't need to be large. The people are very nice. The only complaint I have ever had is not everyone at the table 's food comes out at the same time. They will carry one or two dishes out at a time. This has never been a personal problem that took away from my enjoyment, just a little quirk of this particular place. I absolutely recommend it and if my family ever wants Thai, this is where we go."

"Great Thai food on Dupont Circle. They have beautiful themed dining areas and a nice patio out front. Stopped by for Happy Hour drinks and stayed for dinner. The food was fresh with great sauce. Would definitely go again. Enjoyed the drinks too."
