"Quality not what it used to be. A year ago or so I wrote a reviewing liking this location. We got our usual to go this time (much like other times) and when my husband got home I was incredibly dissapointed. He said they were busy and looked disarrayed but it doesn't give them an excuse for giving us ****. The bartender ignored my husband when he tried to tell them he was there to pick up and saw the order come out and only after our order was sitting there for a while did he finally ask what he was there for. Now that's whatever as long as this pregnant lady gets her food. I eagerly open the box and what do I find? A few sweet potato fries, the avocado smothered on the burger soaking the bun, and no pickle. The bun was falling apart as soon as I tried to pick it up so I ate it with a fork and knife. Even the sauce cup barely had any sauce but enough I guess for the meager portion of fries I got! This makes me sad as we're regulars. That will no longer be true.<br/ <br/ <br/ 01 Aug, 2014 <br/ <br/ West coast burger sweet potato fries. I have gotten the west coast burger and sweet potato fries every single time I've gone there and my boyfriend has now copied my choice. I'm sure the other burgers are good too but if I have a craving for Huey's, that's what I get. Their onion rings are also good and huge but they are the type that the onion slips straight out of the breading. The lemon box cake thing made me very happy. If you want to go to any Huey's, the midtown location is the one to go to! Don't go to the downtown site. They were really rude both times we stopped by to get a to go order when we were on our bikes."

"I ordered a breakfast at 5:20 this morning Burrito was not too busy 3 people in front of me. I saw the cook make the burritos and plates with reheated rice from a zipper location bag. I observe how the cook reheats almost all meats in the microwave. when I came and ordered more and more people and got their food really fast. I sat and watched my Burrito sitting alone on the counter while the lady constantly helped all the locals who came after me by receiving their orders. My Burrito probably sat on the counter for 12 minutes when I saw in unbelief, I noticed that they have a camera on the counter that looked down where you would put your PIN in the debit card device. If you are a local, get your food immediately and hot. If you're a new guy trying new places, forget it. 5:49am I got my food, a microwave reheated 3-meat BurritoBurrito sucked $10The green salsa was sharp and good The red salsa yuck"

"First night in Chicago and we tried this place.The service was a 1 at the best. My husband has told the cashier that they needed to throw away their cheese cake because there was mold on it and she smiled and said okay. When another employee called out our food we found out that instead of listening to my husband, she act charged us for the cheesecake. He again repeated to the employee that he specifically stated that it had mold and needed to be thrown out. She immediately gave us a refund meanwhile the cashier didn’t acknowledge anything and turned away without a response.The food was meh. The gyro has plenty of meat, and my husband loved it. I got a Maxwell Polish and the onions were NOT grilled, they pretty much threw about 15 sport peppers and dang near raw onions. The chili cheese fries were decent."

"I was really in the mood for empanadas so my friend and I decided to come here to grab lunch and appetizers to go. They said about 15 minutes but we ended up waiting more than 45 minutes and still didn't get everything we ordered including the empanadas. Decided to wait longer so I can still get them but they were disgusting.. Soggy with oil and undercooked. Never again."

"3rd Base Grill makes a great burger and fries. My Dr friend recommended their burgers. It was a great burger, hot and juicy with just the right amount of seasoning. The fries were also great, made from scratch using whole potato, not from frozen potatoes. If you love a good burger you won't be disappointed."

"Yummo! We called today in our order and the lady on the phone was pleasant and efficient with our 3 separate orders with special requests. They were muddled when I got there to pick up the order, so I had a little moment. The staff worked carefully all the time I was there, and I was thanked several times for my patience while waiting. The 5 minutes waiting was absolutely worth it! We have the Gyro bowls and oh my it was absolutely delicious. Rice is amazing and the meat has been seasoned perfectly. The Pita and the salad made the perfect combination. The napkins are generous. Can't give this place enough stars!"

"We stopped by Norman's Tavern today and sat outside because of the beautiful weather. The serving staff there is so very nice! Our server, Michael, was very attentive and knows the menu very well. The food that we ordered was delicious! We both had Skirt Steak with Churrasco sauce, mashed potatoes, salad, and an order of Rice and Beans. We added Pinot Noir to our dinner. The steaks came out perfectly as we ordered, which was medium. All the sides were absolutely great! I couldn't believe we were at a Tavern. I don't mean that in a bad way either it's actually a compliment! I know that some taverns have the best food and this is one of them! In addition, we ordered the Key Lime pie, which had a crispy crust. It was great!! We plan to go back soon. The place is well laid out, clean and tidy, quick service, and a friendly staff. We didn't go inside because of Covid. We found parking easily just a few steps away. It's casual and right in the heart of things."

"I always had great experiences here and today was terrible. After my order at 3:56 I was informed that it would be ready at 4:46. My wife waits in the car and at 4:57 a.m. goes to the house to get the food and was told that the order was not suspended and they regretted that they would just start the order. My wife waits for another 20 minutes in the car and then gets it. I saw a $8.50 cent loan on a $57 dollar order plus tip. I called the store directly and asked how they got up with the loan amount and said I had to talk to a manager. A lady picked up the phone and said she was the manager Eliza and told me that the loan was good because we got the food. Her attitude was terrible on the phone and the way she talked to me was very disrespectful and unneededed. I told her how she talked to me and she said that she didn't care and that she put me in the hand without telling me something and said I would get a call from someone else. I told her that her attitude is unacceptable and unprofessional. I would never allow one of my employees to ever talk to a customer or guest as they did. I don't write many reviews, and this place was always a really good place to have employees like these run customers is probably the result here. It's a bad experience costs a business money, but I won't recommend this place to everyone, even though I've been here for years. It is sad to lose this place, knowing that it was a top choice for me and my family."
