"Angelo’s restaurant has been great from the moment it opened years ago. It has only gotten better! He makes the best pasta sauces I have ever tasted- he surpasses even the best restaurants in Italy."

"First, a disclaimer: Please indulge my perhaps xenophobic condemnation, but I have learned not to trust the wait staff at typical Asian restaurants. Both a cultural chasm and a language divide separate American vegans from Asian wait staff. They do not understand that sea animals are not eaten by vegetarians. You often can find these animals listed right on the menus in the so-called vegetarian sections. I shudder to guess at the ingredients that are not listed. Asian restaurants are no more a vegan/vegetarian safe haven than compared to any other ethnic cuisine. But Nancy Chang's is different! They have a separate menu that is vegan, not just vegetarian. And both times I have eaten there, my waiters have spoken both fluent English and fluent Vegan. Steering clear from all the mock meats, which make a mockery of vegetarianism, I still had half of the vegan menu from which to choose, which was plenty. Plus they serve brown rice. While the vegan menu is standard Chinese-American fare with sugary sauces, within that genre the food is excellent. Both its interior and its outdoor patio are comfortable and spacious, and great places to meet your date. In fact, if you park in the small front lot, you will walk thru the bar area, which qualifies as a singles bar. Or use the rear entrance, which adjoins its very large rear parking lot. Both times that I ate here were after the Veg Food Fest held in Worcester. The Fest is a crowded and noisy zoo that is not conducive for enjoying the food. But at Nancy Chang, you will thoroughly enjoyed your meal."

"The kids love eating in the north end. Ate at Quattro’s for lunch a few years ago and wanted to go back with the family. Food was great. Started off with the pizza which was fantastic. Didn’t leave you over stuffed. Had the gnocchi, Casio e Pepe and chicken parm for dinner. All was delectable and the check wasn’t bad either. It was $100 less than when we were previously in the north end at another location and the food was just fine. All in all a great night and ended over at mike’s pastry! The only down side was that when we were in the car, I realized I didn’t have the leftovers which was just a little bit of the parm!"

"We arrived at the peak of dinner while the restaurant was packed, but somehow the three of us were seated within 10 minutes. There were a lot of options so it took us some time to figure out what we wanted to order. My boyfriend ordered the Pizza Bolloco and my friend ordered the Lasagna Bolloco which are both made with the famous New Mexico green chiles. I decided to go with a classic Mediterranean dish and opted for the Linguine Provençale. Everything was impeccable! The food, the service, the prices! So glad we found this place during our travels! "So impressed! The menu has a FULL page of vegan options also a full page of gluten free options! The free cheesy garlic rolls they bring to your table are to die for and you can request for them to make them vegan along with vegan butter! They brought us two plates full and asked without hesitation if we wanted them to bring more. So surprised they don't charge for these! I got the vegan southwestern pizza and it was so good. They give you an option of either Daiya or Follow Your Heart cheese which is a major plus. I also had the Chinese chicken salad with vegan chicken and it was so good! They have a whole list of vegan desserts from local bakery Karma Baker. Will definitely be going back to try more menu items :"

"Went for an early, midweek Father's Day 2017 dinner (7:15P). Sat inside for the slightly cooler temps. Most diners were outside on the sidewalk in the early eve sun in front of the four-restaurant building near Mears Park, St Paul. Beautiful day. Food was excellent as was the service. Dining area is inside an converted brick warehouse with huge firehouse-door windows facing Mears, very attractive restoration, very high ceiling. Would be more energetic with the dining area and long bar full. Will have to come back on a Saturday night!"

"I saw this restaurant featured on a TV show and decided to try it for a birthday celebration. It is definitely a hidden gem, located in a strip mall with plenty of parking. We were greeted by the chef and owner, who offered to accommodate us in a quieter area. The service was excellent and the food was delicious with generous portions. Although a bit pricey, it was a good value for the overall experience. To top it off, they gave a complimentary dessert for the birthday celebrant. I would definitely go back again."

"Last minute New Year’s eve dinner; admittedly everything else booked or too expensive. It was quiet with just a few other diners scattered throughout which was fine with us. Waitress was young and charming and very attentive. Asked sheepishly if chef would dub my shiritaki (miracle noodles) for the fettuccine in my scampi pasta and it was a go which made my meal quite enjoyable as the prawns were nicely cooked and sweet. My dining companion asked for a sub on the cheese in the Spinach salad and regrettably the kitchen did not follow the server’s notes. Would we come back yeah but no rush but good to know the kitchen will work with you on subs even if they don’t always follow through."

"Ok so much to like, but can I just mention the Fois gras. If you don’t like this dish, then stop reading now. But if you love it as I do, then get yourself over here and order it right now! Perfectly cooked, delicious and tender and succulent, with a sweet little garnish of something perfect and divine. Got a perfect wine suggestion from our waiter which absolutely complimented my meal. And when my friend’s phone ran out of power, they found us a charger! I loved everything about this place and will be back soon."

"This restaurant was sooooo noisy!!! We could barely hear each other . They should not have tables next to the kitchen; all you hear are plates clashing . The food took such a long time to come out that our entire group was very disappointed . They should change the lights in some part of the restaurant ; it felt very cafeteria like."

"Nestled in midtown Atlanta, this Italian gem captivates with its seductive ambience and inviting vibes. The moment you step in, you're greeted by a symphony of aromas that promise an unforgettable culinary journey. The server, a maestro of hospitality, guides with finesse and expertise, ensuring each recommendation hits the right note. I ordered the mushroom ravioli, namely Ravioli di Funghi, with each bite being a revelation of flavors dancing harmoniously on your palate. The pasta, delicately crafted, envelops a symphony of earthy mushrooms, bathed in a luscious sauce that whispers of culinary mastery. Each forkful is a blend of textures that transport you to a realm where every ingredient sings in perfect harmony. In this haven of gastronomy, every detail, from the flickering candlelight to the impeccable service, conspires to create an experience that lingers in the memory long after the last bite. This is more than a meal; it's a sonnet of taste and sensation, a celebration of Italian culinary artistry that leaves you craving an encore."

"We were able to make a reservation last minute for 12. The service was great from the host to the server. The waitress was very impressive and felt real to lead us by ordering our food. The food was good. I had the Clam Chowder with the Pasta Combo plate. The mama's sauce tasted fresh and had a sweeter taste. The lasagna, pasta and ravioli were delicious. Few people got pizza and seemed very happy with it."

"The food is good, based on my last visit. However, the service could use some improvement, particularly in terms of speed. During this visit, we didn't even get to sit down. Despite having a reservation, the place was overcrowded, and we had to wait for tables to be rearranged for our group. We ultimately decided to go elsewhere."

"TASTY ENCOUNTERThis midtown Italian restaurant is housed in a two-story bungalow that gives you the immediate feel of a romantic hide-away.But to go to ambiance for just a second, the first floor was enhanced with background music that set the mood. Unfortunately, our dining experience was on the second floor, which for some reason, didn’t have the music piped in. Instead, the hardwood floors and high ceilings resulted in bad acoustics and a continuing array of background noises from people pulling out the chairs, plates being placed on tables, the clickety-clack of high heel shoes, etc. This evening’s delicacies were the fried calamari appetizer, Pulcinella salad, lobster ravioli entree, penne pasta with shrimp in a smoked salmon sauce, and 2 desserts: chocolate layered cake and the limoncello cake. The fried calamari was superb, well seasoned, and coupled with the tomato caper sauce. The Pulcinella salad met our expectations. The lobster ravioli, however, was a bit of a surprise. It looked delicious, but the lobster was minced so finely that you could barely taste it.The shrimp in the smoked salmon sauce was tasty, though we had to add some seasoning.Important note: Pulcinella prepares their pasta al dente, which delivers a fairly firm texture and is, as purists put it, the way pasta should be prepared. If you like your pasta less firm, be sure to request it “well done.”Overall, a tasty encounter, with some drawbacks as described."

"French of course, and above average, but less than outstanding. All entrees have sauce and combinations which one may like or not. Setting has real French ambiance including the right touch of decadence."
