"One of our favorite restaurants. We always bring out our of town guests here. I was highly disappointed this visit. We used Open Table online to 'reserve ' our table. We selected the earliest available time of 830pm on Saturday night and it was 'reserved ' at around 730pm. We arrived to be told that that is NOT a reservations and 'just a call ahead ' and so we still have to wait about another 30 minutes! We would have driven in earlier if we 'd known booking online was like doing nothing. We were told by the hostesss that she 'd try to put us ahead of others, but then knew were were just being lied to as everyone sitting in the waiting area before us were all seated before us and the 'booking online ' meant absolutely nothing. Then, my friend explained a wheat allergy, ordered a dish with corn tortillas, and again specified she wanted corn, not flour. Her meal came and all of us felt they looked and tasted like flour tortillas, the waiter insisted they were corn. She decided not to eat them for fear of an allergic reaction. Since we frequent this location, we saw a waiter we know and asked his opinion. Andrew was WONDERFUL as always and got a manager involved and JR brought out a new dish with apologies as they were indeed flour tortillas! I was embarrassed as the host of the group, no compensation was offered and I was shocked. LOVE Pericos, but why have open table if it 's not used, and please be aware of special requests and teach new servers the difference between items like flour vs corn). Thanks, we 'll be back with a party with no allergies. :"
