"I only give this place 3 stars because of their extreme dog-efrier line (they have an exclusive dog menu and brought my pup an ice water) and their friendly staff. eating was really nothing special. we got the veggie relleno and the cactus tacos, no one in the group was really satisfied with the quality. overall a subpar experience, but at least try it."

"Usually I would give Cast Iron Grill Bar 5 stars. The food and service is usually amazing, and it is one of my most popular places to go. But I was very disappointed at Thanksgiving. Our usual traditional Thanksgiving dinner with family was called for because of an unforeseen situation. I wanted to treat my children for a nice meal. The prices were much higher and the quality was much lower. And to add insult to injury, our server (the name I?m is omitted) was terrible. She rarely came to our table; I had to ask another server for bread that is usually brought out when drinks are served. Our server told me she had been waiting for bread for a long time, but all the other tables had bread. Groups that sat after us all got their food before us. When she dropped our food, she asked if everything was good before we even had a bite. Then she never came back to check us out until we were done and waited for the check. She recommended the shed potatoes as one side, raving about how good they were. They were terrible. If she had come back earlier (or even before the end of the meal), I would have asked if I had a side of potato maize instead. Would I? ve even paid extra. I was ready to go, disappointed and hungry. I issued the credit card showing that I was ready for the bill? After all, she came by, took it up and ran it without even giving me the postal code. I'm not one who jumps out when drinking. But I just left 15%. Your service was far less worth than that. This bad visit won? I love their regular menu, the ambience is great, and the service is usually excellent. I'll steer her department when I go back. I'm really insulted about the lack of service she gave us, and somehow sad that my guys I don't get to enjoy our Thanksgiving."

"We arrived here on a relatively busy afternoon (weekend of the state railway of the girl) and sat immediately with a group of 10. Our server quickly moved to order drinks and food within 5 minutes. The kitchen was also fast; we probably waited no more than 15 minutes after the order. I was very surprised how good the food was for a bar/grill. A quite extensive menu of rice bowls and fish tacos to peaches/peaches. I got the traditional bunch of buffalo chicken and loved him. The flip it and vice versa grilled cheese was also another group favorite. Beverage menu and specialties also looked good, but we did not take part. The atmosphere definitely offers a more merciful amount, but there were several families. Overall, one of the best food businesses I visited in Charleston."

"I always have a great time at The Gin. The food is delicious, good service, it is clean, and the live music is great. The fried pickles are also so good! We also enjoyed the wings and the Hamburger we ordered. It is not your hip, trendy, modern place, but it has a small city feeling that I personally love. Recently I went to a new restaurant/bar nearby and it was not where near the experience you get at The Gin. I will probably not go back to this new bar / restaurant unless I have to. We will definitely be the Gin atleast monthly!"

"this place used to be really good, but it goes downhill. my friend has a beef sandwich that was too salty. I had a breakfast with a side grotten. my eggs had shells in them, the pouring were granular. my hot cakes were burned. they need either new cooks or the old ones back or something. this place is müll after 2 o'clock. "We sat outside on the veranda on a rainy night. It was beautiful. But, our waiter Jessie made it even better. He was funny and attentive but not over-boding. My friend and I shared the crab /spinach dip which was delicious with plenty of crab. We also split the clams linguini. Just as good. The homemade pasta made a big difference."

"Christos has been a popular restaurant for our family for 30 years. My husband and I had our dinner there. We decided to go to dinner last night and choose Christos because we haven't been there since the pandemic. You didn't disappoint! We had the fried chicken dinner it was very good, each dinner has a half chicken at a very reasonable price! Dinner came with salad or soup, I recommend the soup! Choice of potatoes and desserts. Our server, Noah, was so attentive, even when his tables grew, plus he was very polite and so beautiful, even when we watched other patriots who treated him very rudely and complained about everything. We were horrified by the behaviour of other customers! Thanks to Christos and especially Noah! Another family lover here."

"The burger I got yesterday was over $6 and was far from what someone would expect for paying that much. it had the 3 mac and cheese bites on it but the burger patty and cheese itself were worse quality than public school food. There was also 1 little tiny piece of bacon on it. I was so disappointed because their burgers always look so good on their Facebook page. Also, I got a mini blizzard and they put a lid on it, which is fine in itself, but it was too full and went out the sides and made it impossible to open without making a huge mess. Just really disappointed and won't bother going back."
