"First time here with my young family and the food was OK. We got the Buffalo Wings (which are not spicy, I was expecting some spicy) and I don't recommend getting them. Hardly any meat on them. Mostly fat and the breaded coated around them. Definitely not getting them ever again. The Philly Cheese steak was alright. I was hoping it was going to be great but it wasn't. I don't recommend. Now, what really was a lot better than the wings and the Philly Cheese Steak were, Eggs Benedict, County Fried Steak and Eggs, French toast combo and Chicken Parmigiana were pretty good. The only staff we encountered was Angie and she was so amazing! Seriously, wow!!!! She was so nice and welcoming and friendly. "We were seated outdoors under umbrellas on a sunny afternoon. Note: long tables for groups of 4+ have large concrete bases, minimizing available leg room. Great views of the waterfront, harbour planes and ship lanes. Servers are friendly and attentive and can provide informed recommendations. Our servers never seemed hurried or rushed despite numerous reminders when booking of the 2-hour time limit. "Our family enjoyed dining outdoors at this restaurant. The wait staff did a fantastic job of quickly moving tables when it started raining unexpectedly. We were able to stay dry under an umbrella and a large tree, and the rain stopped soon after. Our teenage kids, who don't often dine at nice restaurants, loved the creative appetizers, especially the homemade croutons on the Caesar salad. The meals we all ordered were excellent, and we were too full for dessert, which was a shame because I have had the chocolate bread pudding with Baileys before and it is amazing! There are plenty of delicious options on the menu, and we also enjoyed the scallops, duck, key lime chicken, and flank steak. You can't go wrong with any choice!"

I highly recommend trying the Bert’s omelette, and many regulars rave about the crushed ice they use here. "Commons was Fabulous! My girlfriend and are in from out of town and this was the first place we ate. The cinnamon, as pictured, was covered in cream cheese icing, that wasn’t too thick or cream cheesy, it was the perfect compliment to the moist roll. I had the biscuits and gravy, the biscuits were fluffy and flaky and the gravy was seasoned perfectly, but the add-on fried chicken stole the show. It was juicy and the crust was fried just right. My girlfriend had the chorizo burrito and mentioned that the chorizo was the perfect spice level in the dish. Also she had the pear citrus lemonade and loved it. My aunt said the burger was juicy and cooked properly. Our service was outstanding as well. I would definitely recommend to locals and travelers"

I ordered an appetizer of Authentic German Pretzels served with a cheese fondue, a German version of a Greek lamb kabob/ Gyro; both were delicious. I was also impressed with the beer selection; I was pleasantly surprised to see they had Bitburger Beer(The first beer I ever tasted 1989, near Bitburg, Germany), ON TAP! Our server was beautiful, kind, helpful, energetic!!! I will certainly visit again! Hopefully soon on an adventure North!"
