"Start at the beautiful bar on the main floor. Although expensive, the drink are creative and accompanied by a trio of delicious snacks. Arrive at least 30 minutes before your dinner reservation to relax and enjoy the experience. Move downstairs for an old school dinner. The staff will be happy to split dishes in the kitchen. The corned beef sandwich and burgers are exceptional. It is a great place for a meal with friends and family."

"This is a review of the final day in the old location. I was so disappointed and let down. Why would such a class act allow them selves to deliver such a sub-par service. We tried to order a meat and cheese plate and you were out of almost everything. In fact you were out of many things. This has always been my #1 wine and cheese place, and I hope they are doing better in the new location, but this was a very bad way to say good-bye."

"We were on the island celebrating a friend's birthday that day. The outdoor patio area was nice. Server was great and the food were delicious, along with the drinks. We had the oyster shooters, Ponzu Sashimi Sea Scallops, a dozen of oysters, seabass, shrimp and chicken gumbo, and Gemelli Pasta with Shrimp Sea Scallops. The Sashimi was our favorite. I believe we had two orders of these. Definitely recommend to try out this place. The only thing we weren't a big fan of is the oysters. Although, they were delicious, but they were bigger than we imagined."

"My BF and I came here as a late Valentine's Day celebration as we wanted to try. We sat right away and had a choice of two little tables since we were a party of two. The bar area was full, but it looked like a beautiful area. The ambience is beautiful, but too dark. My BF had difficulty reading the menu due to the lack of light, and the menu printing was not black. The service was great. Our server was attentive and we never had to wait for them. We ordered specials, and they were delicious; BF had the healbutt, and I had the ****. Very good. We didn't order starters or salads. We ordered cream broil for dessert, which was delicious. I recommend Solstice, but it's quite expensive."

"Wonderful view. Meals lovely. It was a early dinner. When walking in might pay to understand if staffing . We were seated but we found the bartender had to step away to assist with orders. We had to ask for bread and then no one asked if we wanted water. All good though. All dishes came out in timely fashion. The actual centre piece item (the fish) was absolutely lovely and flavourful. The sides (scalloped potatoes, beans and asparagus) were done as if hurried. This is a favourite place still."

"Everything about this place is fantastic. The staff is so beautiful and it has a very chic atmosphere. Here for drinks and apps, sat outside. Large free space with heat lamps. I have the Prosciutto plate and the picked Ricotta with apricot canned. It comes with 2 large pieces of bread perfect for 2 people. The Prosciutto was high quality and perfected. The grounded ricotta was something from a dream creamy and sweet from the jam above. If the appetizers are so good, I'm sure this is a great lunch and dinner spot! I forget the name of the cocktail, but the mezcal Hibiscus cocktail had a very unique taste, delicious."

"Amazing Anniversary dinner at Stark’s last night! Husband had 28 day aged Ribeye steak and it was perfectly cooked. I had the butterfish and it was delicious as well. For sides we got the Broccolini and Brussels Sprouts. Wedge salad was delicious also! Those bacon hunks are YUM YUM"

"I had the pleasure of enjoying Monarch twice this week. I brought a group of four to downtown to meet a lunch that was phenomenal. Then came family (15 of us) on a Saturday night, and the food was absolutely delicious! I wish I saved room for Dessert! The staff was very professional and accommodating. "Stay away on holidays like Valentine's Day. Amazingly overbooked. Show up at 7:10 pm for a 7:15 only to sit at the bar for over 45 minutes. The lady checking off the names when checking in had heard so many complaints, she too was openly critical with her comments to coworkers without a whisper. An awful night all the way around. Leaving at 9:30, people were still stacked up and complaining."

I made a reservation for this evening and got a confirmation of Open Table, but when I showed up in the restaurant, I found it very closed. I sent a note to Open Table to tell them about their Glitch, and they reacted with an apology. Now they sent me an application for a review of the restaurant. Hello, Open Table, is there anyone?"

"The stuffed mushrooms were overdone and too greasy. The shrimp linguini dish I had was seasoned too strongly and very greasy. The Blue Bleu salad with salmon had a mayonnaise dressing that was bland, and the salmon was overgrilled and dry. The service was slow although our waitress Julie was great, but the bar and kitchen were slow. With all the competition in the area, they really need some good advice on their menu and how things are cooked and seasoned. We would never return."

"As a golfer, this place is on the bucket list. It was WORTH IT! First, show up a little early so you can walk around the gift shop, club house, and grounds. We also were there at 6:30 to capture the perfect sunset. They start your order with homemade potato chips and onion dip. I purchased a ginger beer and then my wife and I ordered the drugstore burger with onion rings and the tomato soup with grilled cheese. Both were very good, the burger was fresh, juicy, and the epitome of a classic cheeseburger. The only thing that could have been a little better would be the temperature of the soup, just a tad on the cool side, but I like soup piping hot. Perfect date night location, and make sure to reserve a table outside."
