"I needed to put food in my system before going into Sam’s Club (because I’m a dangerous shopper even without the hunger). So I stopped into the place… HOLY SMOKES! It’s so good! I was not expecting Asian food with a gas station in the parking lot to be mind blowing, but their phone hasn’t stopped ringing with orders since I walked in at 3pm. The sesame shrimp was obviously hand battered. The menu was extensive. Service was awesome. Definitely an Evanston win."

"Always a good experience here. The food has a homemade quality and is a significant step above average. The wontons in the wonton soup have thin delicate wrappers and a delicious pork filling. For about the same price as cheap takeout you sit at atable with a tablecloth, are served complimentary freshly fried wonton strips that are delicious, and above average food. I'malways puzzled why the place is not more popular (it never seems that busy). Maybe it's stuck between people looking forauthentic Chinese and people looking for the goopiest, most caloric, and most Americanized version of Chinese-American. This isa subtle and thoughtful take on Chinese-American."

"I order sumo all the time and everything is always great! But today a young girl took my order over the phone and many things were wrong, I come back to Philly and call instead of saying I apologize back and I will repair it, she argued with me for 15 minutes. I decided to go back, only for the five spicy Mayos I ordered with my $150 order, and she argued with me again and also made me pay a dollar for the spicy Mayo, which is not even full of the way after I drove all the way back and paid the toll twice. Very rude and argumentative. Your customer service suck and we all have bad days, it must be better!!!!"

"this place is terrible! I ordered sesame chicken for delivery and it was disgusting! I called the owner to tell him that this is funny. He said no! Eat is good! it was not good. that he had a strange taste. I asked if I had something else and he told me that it was good. I then asked if I could bring that back and get a refund, and he said he can't and that I should be careful next time I don't like it. Serious customer service!"

"Super convenient if visiting the SAM, Noi Thai is pretty much directly across the street from the Art Gallery. The restaurant has great ambiance and friendly staff. The Vegetarian/ Vegan Menu is small, but has a good selection. I can highly recommend the Veggie rolls, with Peanut sauce to start. The rolls are fresh and herbaceous thanks to the cilantro and basil. And the peanut sauce is the best I’ve had peanutty without being cloying with hints of coconut and perhaps sriracha? I had the Black noodles as recommended from a previous reviewer and it was really yummy! I particularly loved the way the broccoli soaked up the sauce and I put extra heat on the dish from the tray of assorted pepper condiments. The one that I chose, to put on I think may use fish oil or something like that as it had that particular taste that I remember from before I was Vegan, so it may be wise to ask first. All in all an excellent place and I will definitely be back to sample the other items on their Vegan Menu"

"Can be really good, but inconsistent. A recent bug issue the way the restaurant handled it was unfortunate.This was our go-to place during COVID. We tried a bunch and ended up ordering from her about once a week starting in 2020. We found the flavor and spices really good, especially the lamb vindaloo, chana saag, aloo naan, chicken tikka, aloo gobi. Sometimes there would be weird inconsistencies- the rice would be different, and one time was completely covered in oil (up to an inch in the takeout container) and inedible. The lamb vindaloo was occasionally too vinegary. But, often enough it would come and be super hot and perfect so we kept ordering. Last night was our last order from them… there was a little cockroach floating at the top of the chicken tikka masala. I called the restaurant and asked for a refund, and they just refunded the one dish, though we were skeeved out of all the food. I think they could have handled it better."

"Ordered for pickup for a sushi combo. Staffs were friendly and I was impressed by how considerate the packaging was they separated the cold dishes from the hot soup with a box material which I've never seen before. In terms of food, I really enjoyed the crispy tuna roll on the side more than I expected. Typically, rolls on the side that come with combo meals are not good, but this place completely turned that perception around (I actually liked the rolls better than the sushi). Would've been better if they diversified the sushi options for the combo, but they were still good quality."

"I hate to give this place a 2 because they are nice and I did not go and try and rectify my problem unfortunately I bought a philly steak it was packed in a clear plastic container but after eating half of my sandwich I noticed a small piece of a foreign substance in the container which turned my stomach I will not be going back. I will one day go and speak to the manager about making sure that issue does not happen again. I do not believe it was inside the food but itwas inside the container."
