"the new old woman hostess is horrible at her job. it was busy tonight which i completely understand but my family and i have been coming here for YEARS. im a young girl, i got there before my dad i asked her for a table for 3. she said “well do you have a reservation?” and then proceeded to roll her eyes and shrug her shoulders when i told her no. 5 plus years i’ve never made a reservation also being that im willing to wait. kathy the owner came out and the old woman proceeded to point to the people behind me and skip me and ignore me and kathy was like wait what about her? meaning me. then it got so much more packed so many more people came the old woman had went and hid in the back on purpose. when she came back out finally after 20 minutes, i asked her if there was a list or something because again i was willing to wait. she SCREAMS and says “I HAVE TO HELP RESERVATIONS FIRST” like learn to talk to PAYING customers. then my father gets there, she realizes hes friends with the owner she made up a lie that the WHOLE time she thought the owner was helping me because she knows she was useless and horrible towards me. the customers behind me noticed what was going on and asked me if i was okay because she was just that awful. that woman should not have a job there, and im not even mad about it being too busy or having to wait, thats understandable. i’m mad that she has 0 class and treats customers so terribly. We ended up walking out because of how poorly she treated the guests."

"I feel the need to write a review to do some justice to this restaurant. I live in UWS and order from the place from time to time. They have a wide selection of food, deliver really fast, and have very competitive price. Yes it's not the best Chinese food in town, but I never order sth that taste bad and some of the dishes are pretty good. The Beijing Duck is pretty decent, bento boxes are all nice, and they have a lot of dim sum to choose from. The best thing is they have bubble tea, which most Chinese food delivery in the neighborhood don't offer. It's perfect for when you just chilling at home and don't feel like cooking for yourself, will continue ordering from Amazed Palace."

"So far I’ve only ever order takeout, but the food is incredible. I’ve been on the hunt for good Chinese food for many years now, and Shanghai moon is hands down my favorite place to order Chinese food from! My favorite thing on the menu would have to be the steamed wontons with peanut sesame sauce. If I could order this sauce by the gallon I would. It’s so delicious. 2 things I typically judge Chinese food restaurants on are the egg rolls and the roast pork lo mein, and Shanghai moon has hit the mark on both of those!! The sushi here is also amazing. I continue to order again and again. Someday soon I’ll need to go inside and enjoy it as a proper restaurant, but for now, the takeout is everything I’m looking for!"

"Initially, I was a bit hesitant—though not stoned, just a little wary. From the outside, the restaurant appears somewhat rough and uninviting, which had kept us from dining there before. However, all those concerns vanished as soon as we stepped inside! The interior is lovely—well-maintained and clean. The staff was friendly, and the lunch special was fantastic; I had the three rolls while my partner ordered the General Tso's bento box. I will definitely return! The ambiance was decent, though there was no music so we could hear some loud conversations from the kitchen. Still, that doesn’t affect my rating because the flavors were excellent!"

"I have always flip flopped on the best Chinese in Concord until we went here. I used to think it was tea garden, dragon star or Szechuan Garden...nope! This is hands down the highest quality and most flavorful north of Chinatown. I find it even better than Chen Garden in Manchester. It's a little more expensive than the others but you get what you pay for. It's definitely worth it."

"My husband and I have birthdays two days apart so we decided to have an early dinner at Pearl East in Manhasset, NY. Unfortunately, the hostess at the front desk (who I’ve never seen before) was rude and insisted on seating us at a small table when I asked if we could be seated at a larger table. Our plates were hanging over the edge of the table. This is the first time we were denied a larger table and there were only four other people dining in the restaurant. Shortly after we were seated, two women came in and asked for a larger table; and yes, they were accommodated. Our Server was attentive but the hostess’s lack of professionalism put a damper on our meal."
