"We'd been to Lady's before, almost a year ago around the time it opened. The menu had changed and the excellent pasta enjoyed the first time around was no longer prominent on the menu and the cocktails had changed to a selection that skewed more on the sweet side. The pizzas we're alright, we just weren't in the mood for pizza. I think it was a special occasion, but the music was very loud as well. There was a DJ and while the choice of music was great, it was simply too loud. Or at least too loud for an 8pm-ish dinner. I could see the music getting louder as the night went on and the dinner rush was calming down, but walking into a dinner at 8pm and being able to feel the bass in my chest and barely hear the people at the table with me was a little disappointing. The restaurant itself is still very nice inside and the lighting was a little brighter than when we originally came, which was fine (we could actually see our food better). Service was great, waiters were attentive and on top of everything. All in all, we went expecting to have a casual, intimate dinner with good pasta options but instead were eating in a much louder space with a pizza centric menu. Not necessarily bad, just unexpected. We would certainly go back, just with much different expectations in mind."
