"I visited Houston for almost a week, and the person I was with LOVES Tacos and wanted some for Taco Tuesday. We Googled and found this place in Downtown Houston, which had AMAZING REVIEWS.WE SEE WHY!!!The food here is A-M-A-Z-I-N-G!!! So much so, that we had to run that back one more time before we left town (This is the only restaurant we visited twice while we were there, by the way). The first time we went, I got the Asada and birria street tacos, with some fixins. They tasted great, but be mindful that the birria broth was super spicy (the kind of spice that sneaks up on you), so make sure you can handle the spice if you order it. I didn't use it because they tasted fine without it. The REAL TREAT, however, was the CHICKEN. My friend got the Chicken tacos and let me taste one... and bay-bee when I say I was sad that I didn't choose the chicken first... I was dismayed!So when we went back on our last night in town, I got the chicken gringo Tacos, and they did not disappoint! The line was long the second time we came and it moved kinda slowly (but not too slowly), but that was because they are cooking everything FRESH. They are grilling chicken, chopping it, and then placing it on the line. We can SEE them toasting the tortillas before putting them on the plates, etc. Also, the workers were really friendly!In short... if you need a sign to go visit this taco joint, THIS IS IT!!! They were amazing, and the whole restaurant was real chill and laid back. I loved it."
