"I've been here for years and after trying over a dozen classic Cincinnati chili spots, which is by far the superior restaurant. Let’s start with atmosphere: warm illuminated, large tropical plants, background music from a quiet but sounding jukebox. It is as cozy and stress-melting as it gets. Finish it with a full belly cinnamon chili and you will leave a new man here. Food: Comes extremely fast to their cafeteria style line, usually within a minute order. The quality of the ingredients is always top notch and much fresher than other chili restaurants. The Cheddar cheese is large and fluffy, the onions are fresh and crisp (not weak and flimsy like any other chili place) and the chili is plentiful and well seasoned. This place reaches the perfect ratio of chili and cheese to bread and noodles where many places fail. They also have amazing gros, sandwiches, fancier Greek salads and good desert options. The sweet tea also packs a lot of taste. Price: It is also affordable. As a cafeteria-style restaurant, you do not have waiting to tap staff, and the food is already cheap. One of the few places where you can stay stuffed for less than $10. And this place is perfect for a quick bite for lunch as you pay at the switch when you order, you do not have to wait for a waiter to get the check. Can be in less than 10 minutes when you choose. Or just relax and hang up a bit. Hours: Open up to 3 o'clock sometimes and open early enough to my 4-way with onion “breakfast” sometimes! Staff: friendly and familiar. Good people looking after their restaurant. I see the owner of the place there from time to time to check for people eating there. 100% A. Dixie chili is the best!"
