"The food and ambience were very nice. The service was very poor. Our waitress had very poor English speaking and comprehension skills which made ordering very difficult. We received our side dish just as we finished our entree. The worst part was receiving a bill for over $100 more than it should have been and that charge has yet to be taken off my credit card account. I do understand the difficulty in getting good help, but this server had no business in a customer facing position. Reflected very poorly on a very nice restaurant."

"It’s hard to find bad restaurants in New York. And here you have one. Nothing special at all. You can find better sushi. The fried rice was very oily, especially for Japanese food. Roasted mushroom was a giant lump drizzled in sauces which did nothing. Slow unfriendly service. The space has a mix of tables and low seat couches. No one wants to eat on a couch. We had a table and the couches were empty. The place was half empty on a Saturday night. For good reason. Won’t be return. Sorry I wanted time and money there."
