"We entered a quiet restaurant, which was a positive surprise. The friendly host greeted us and inquired about the birthday celebration mentioned in our reservation. We were given the option to choose our table and we were delighted by the BYOB policy. We even received champagne glasses. Although I had checked the menu online beforehand, I was disappointed to find that some of the items I had seen on OpenTable were not available. We ordered the artichoke salad, which was delicious, the paella, and the penne pesto. I had heard good reviews about the paella, so I was surprised to find that it was quite plain and lacked complexity for being the most expensive item on the menu. It felt similar to a pre-made microwave meal with rice, spices, and a few vegetables. The salad was tasty and the pesto was good, but considering the price and portion size, I didn't feel like it was worth it. Aside from the BYOB option, I expected the dishes to be more sophisticated for the cost. The chocolate mousse cake was enjoyable. The service was excellent and the ambiance was pleasant."
