"we went to the brunch and expected the wonderful buffet they had in the past. unfortunately over covid they took the buffet out, but the brunch side did not reflect that. regardless of this, the Brunch menu looked quite appetizing. we ordered the classic eier benedict as this is our go-to and favorite breakfast. it was an understatement. as a chef I was horrified. in all the years I had, and made hollandaise, I just don't understand how this degree of lack of taste went under any radar. if she had the eier benedikt and put a piece of pappe next to each other, the pappe would have let her gaumen sing. oh, and the English muffin was burned for our two benedicts. So, the blandness combined with this beautiful honing Char taste meant that everything they cost was burned brot. kudos for making their own English muffins. Just don't burn them. that said the eggs were perfectly stabbed. but the hollandaise? wow. someone has to get a lection about how to do a right."
