"A fun place to gather with friends for a night of food and song. We went mud-week to listen to live music with famed Hudson Valley singer Michael Dell.The songs of Sinatra Dean Martin as well as midden hits are brought to life with accompanying great food and wine.The pours are so generous one glass will do!I had the Bronzino with rice. It was a much larger fish than I expected and delicious.Friends had Saltimbocca and a creamy pesto pasta dish.The atmosphere is cozy, warm and sweet with perfect evening lighting, adding to the charm of the entire experience.Can’t wait to go back and enjoy more nights of mid-week fun, laughter and a night off from the kitchen!"

"I have to give it to the staff on Sunday, in particular Kailey S. for advocating for our party of 7. We got there at 1pm after a high school graduation ceremony and the brunch menu was presented to us. Our graduate had her heart set on the smash burger and her parents on the Mac n cheese specials, so we were disappointed at first when told we had to order from the brunch menu. We were going to leave, but thankfully Kailey pleaded our case to her kitchen and manager and we were allowed to order from the lunch menu as an exception and the meal was FANTASTIC. Thank you to the whole Oak Barrel team for making our visit exceptional!"

"Thurs. 8/1 I visited this restaurant. Open table said just 3 tables available. I made the reservation for 8 pm. The ENTIRE dining room was EMPTY. This was definitely misleading.Availability on lobby tables by waterfall and seated bar. The dining room looked like a breakfast room for a tour when meals are provided or an employee break room Outside tables were sticky with no mats linen or paper or tablecloths. The tables were wiped but the sticky came from the finish on the wood. We ordered a $45 tender but absolutely tasteless filet. The chef would not make a bernaise sauce but offered a over salty mushroom. No AU jus ... nada. No bread basket because of several conflicting stories. He forgot.Didn’t know it was left off order until delivery The ordering system was down Steak came with a mound of mashed potatoes but server refused to substitute French frys. We ordered them anyway for $5.95 and requested they be brought out right away. They weren’t ... they came out with entree and were cold so we sent them back. They were delicious 2nd time around. No water offered, no refill check on ice tea a coke. Server brought them but didn’t clear empty glasses. She was a young teen who probably was given minimum training. My crab cake was excellent. The $8 green beans came w/o the bacon Sprinkle of almonds. I literally had 2 almond 1/2’s on the dish. All in All it was on of the worst restaurant experiences in my life for fine dining. I basically threw away $97.."

"With the name of a big foodie in the title you would think that the food would be good but it is not. First thing is it’s very expensive for subpar food. Second the place is tiny. Thirdly the service is not on the level that it should be. I would definitely not recommend dining here and will not be returning myself."

"I loved all the foods I've eaten at this restaurant, from the chips to the potatoes to the steak. I have very low tolerance for spicy foods and when I told them they were so accommodating- the food they served me was tasty without being too spicy! You can't go wrong ordering anything with their chicken or steak (perfectly cooked! as well the sea bass (and I'm usually not crazy about fish . The service and decor were excellent as well. Highly recommend!"

"That was, without a doubt, the best sandwich I've ever had, and I've had my fair share. I tried the 1762, and it was simply perfect. The bread had a nice crispy crust on the outside while remaining soft and not overly smoky on the inside. The beef was expertly cooked—tender and not overdone at all. It had a delicate flavor that wasn't overpowering. The horseradish provided just the right amount of spice, complementing rather than overshadowing the other ingredients."

"A solid hot sandwich at a reasonable price. I had the 1762 The Original. Quality. A unique combination of ingredients that meshes well for a lot of flavor. The roast beef was tender and juicy. The sandwich was made to order and served hot in a foil wrapping. Plenty of sandwich for one person. No frills beyond that. Came with chips of your own selection and a fountain drink. I have been coming here for years and every sandwich I had was quality. This should be a favorite of people who like hot subs."

"Service was WONDERFUL, however the food wasn't worth 20.00. I ordered a salad and the tortilla soup. The salad was very small for it to be 10.00 and the tortilla soup, was good, but it was cold, room temperature to be exact. Also, the restaurant wasn'texactly clean, there was a coffee cup in front of the register that looked as it had been sitting there all day, the drinkstation was a mess, and the tables were filthy."
