"I don’t think we can give this place another chance unfortunately, we first tried it when it was recently opened and we took our family there , my nephew had spotted a roach inside their small plastic sign holder that was on the table , we laughed but got grossed out at the same time. We let them know and they took it . After that my family didn’t go back but we decided to because we understand that could have happened to anyone. We went a few times after that and in the last time of that I found a hair on my nachos . My husband doesn’t like to send stuff back or make people feel bad so we didn’t say anything and just didn’t eat it . After that we decided we were done trying it out . Well yesterday we had planned to go to a restaurant seconds away from this one but it was closed for Labor Day . We were hungry so we said I guess let’s go there . We order queso and immediately my son notices a long hair sitting on the queso I was done at this point , I was pretty upset that I made my husband send it back , they apologized but it’s just not ok , he was very kind because at the end of the day it’s not her fault . Do y’all not where hair nets ? Makes me wonder if this is the second time it’s happened to us how many other people have had this issue . I also felt this time the quality of food had gone down , the chips felt thin . My nachos looked diff and the beef smelled off . It’s unfortunate because we love the other Natalita’s but this one is down the street from us . We went and tipped her well still since she shouldn’t have to lose on a tip over the kitchen staff. Please do better"

"We decided to try Garcia 's tonight with our family of six adults and two small children. It is only east of the bustling I-35N FM3009 crossing in Selma Schertz at the end of a strip shopping center. Many parking spaces in front and when we walked in the restaurant were full of many people waiting for tables. This is not a large room, maybe 25 tables and stands with a beautifully decorated interior and waiters everywhere. We sat after about 10 minutes and immediately given menus and drinks orders. Excellent chips and exactly right salsa were placed on the table as soon as we sat. The menu is extensive with many Tex Mexican favourites, American dishes such as burgers and fries, and a few more unusual choices such as beef fideo and picadillo platter. We ordered combo plates with Enchiladas, Chalupas and Tacos; picadillo plate; Chicken Fajita-Platter; Children's ' Enchilada plates and a large guacamole for an appetizer. Service was very fast, friendly and efficient. Our waitress moved quickly, but managed to keep our soda and water glasses full and regularly check on us. The guacamole was simple and fresh, no tomatoes or onions, but only simple avocados with lemon and salt - it was delicious. The Entrees were also made easy, but were very good, if not inspired, we all cleaned our plates! Fresh homemade tortillas brought with the entrees were hot out of the grid and wonderful. We could eat a dozen. Prices are also very reasonable. For six Entrees including two children's meals and soft drinks tea was the total $56.14 before tip. We are very happy to find Garcia 's!"

"Outstanding Mom-and-Pop Restaurant. My wife and I have been dining at Gaudalajara for several years and have never, EVER had anything less than really good food here. We love their breakfast. My wife always tries Huevos Ala Mexicana when we go to a Mexican restaurant for the first time at breakfast and she thinks theirs are the best she has ever had. I enjoy the Migas and can guarantee you that theirs are WAY up the list of my favorite versions of them. It sounds strange to some people, but one of our favorite things about breakfast here is the chips and hot sauce, in combination with their tasty coffee. First, the hot sauces (both green and red) wake up your taste buds and their more-toasty-than-most-places chips hold up well to the spice. When you add in the flavor of the rich, freshly brewed, steaming hot coffee, it's like your taste buds want to get up and DANCE!<br/ <br/ Lunch and dinner is also great here. Their big meal (almost like a buffet because it has so many items on it) is exceptional and is what I usually order. It has a chalupa shell spread with chile con queso, a tostada, enchilada, tamale, rice, beans and a taco. My wife can hardly order anything other than the Enchiladas Suizas because they are so TASTY. Chicken enchiladas in a VERY rich tomato-based sauce that is ever-so-slightly sweet and moderately spicy, then topped with Swiss Cheese and served with rice and beans.<br/ <br/ There is nothing on their menu that I would hesitate to order... it's ALL good. And the waitresses are always so friendly and glad to see you.<br/ <br/ One tip for you... don't expect them to bring the ticket to your table. As is the case in most realy Mexican restaurants, you simply go to the register when you are finished eating and they'll have your check waiting for you.<br/ <br/ Check out Gaudalajara, I bet you a shiny new quarter that you'll like it as much as my wife and I do."
