"During my recent visit to this restaurant, I was not feeling well and had a limited appetite for a large meal. I ordered a miso soup and a spicy tuna roll, which were good. We informed the waitress of my shellfish allergy and she acknowledged it. However, when the chef came out to cook at our table, there was no show and he immediately started grilling shrimp, despite my allergy. When I kindly informed him of my allergy, he dismissively told me that he wasn't cooking for me, only the other people in my group. This lack of consideration and empathy was very disappointing and one of the most rude encounters I've had with a chef. His disregard for my safety also prevented me from even trying anything off my husband's plate, as he continued to cook with shellfish in close proximity. Overall, I was disappointed by the chef's attitude towards my allergy, which could have had serious consequences for me."
