"Delicious neopolitan pizza. You can tell the dough, sauce, and mozzarella cheese are fresh and high quality. I've had pizza in Naples, Italy...and this is the closest I've tasted to that in the US. Really good. The tomato sauce is what really hits it out of the park for me. Tastes like it's made with fresh tomatoes. The atmosphere is really nice here too and our server was very friendly. I just have to add in response to some other people's negative reviews of the pizza here...if you don't like this style of pizza, that's fine but just recognize that American pizza and Italian pizza are not the same. Don't come here expecting Domino's. ??"

"great restaurant with place to improve. design and ambiente are beautiful and the employees are very attentive, but they have made some cheap decisions to counter inflation. the prices here are not cheap, but also not expensive. for example, I had the chicken parm that was tasty, but they said it did not come with pasta; it was just a piece of chicken for $23. then I was told that I could not order a page of pasta, because you did not exist. my only option was to order one from the menu spaghetti pomodoro at a price of $20...for spaghetti with red sauce. seriously? so my escape was really $43 because they were too cheap to contain pasta or even a sweet with a chicken dish. for these reasons I would not return. the food was delicious, but this sense of cheapness left a bad taste in my mouth."

"I ordered breakfast delivery on Thursday morning. I got a ham, egg, and cheese sandwich with scallion cream cheese on a brioche bun, along with a cappuccino and a piece of skyberry crumb cake. The sandwich was quite large and had a nice amount of filling. I really loved the brioche option, which isn't something you find available at most places! The cappuccino was tasty, but it wasn't a true cappuccino; it had no foam and was more like a full cup of liquid, resembling a latte. The crumb cake looked great but turned out to be very dry and seemed overbaked. Based on other reviews and my experience with the egg sandwich, I will definitely come back to try more items from the sandwich menu."

"I've been here since I was in junior high and even if I'm not in La Crescenta, my family and I'm back every other weekend for Saturday brunch. We sometimes even come to dinner on Sunday evenings! They serve delicious dishes, consistently and with a lot of love, and they feel like a part of the family, especially with the beautiful staff they have on board. And finally, I can confidently say that even with LA's brunch scene near with new hip restaurants, which seems like a monthly basis, Black Cow will always be my favorite spot to eat good food, with family / friends, people / dog watch, and let time pass by as I enjoy."

"This place has one of the most unique avocado toast I ever had! It has orange, radishes and pistachios and things that you would normally not connect to an avocado toast and might have a hard time to imagine how it is all coming together. But there is a method of this madness. Somehow everything comes together nicely and creates a burst of flavors in your mouth. The orange adds freshness, pistachios supplement the crispy, radishes breaks the monotony of the usual aromas and avocado simply will be the star of the plate. They bake fresh bread there so that your toast also becomes mouthwater. It's a bit expensive, but it's worth it in my humble opinion."

"We randomly stopped in here yesterday on our way to Central Park to walk to The Met. The hot and cold bars were fantastic. The roasted carrot and arugula salad was my favorite. My wife enjoyed fried chicken and a cold pasta salad. The sliced fresh fruit from the bar was spectacularly flavorful and fresh. The man who checked us out was kind and very hospitable he made sure we had everything we needed to dine in. Thank you!"

"Reservations were on time. Service for a sat night was OK. Food was fine, Prime Rib was very fat. Portion sizes were good, but the noise level was terrible. I couldn't hear the person next to me. Prices were also a little expensive. Weekdays and Sundays are better, but if you like Prime Rib, there is a price to pay, not only in dollars and cents, but in hearing loss."

"Not my kind of place. The bar / tavern had screaming, loud customers on a day when there was no one around. Really a tasting menu, teen plate, teen servings, bad value for money. The waitress told me that the green peppers in my clam chowder were mild - they weren't and had to spit out with a burning mouth. Really embarrassing when I was treated. Instead, they gave me asparagus. Your only vegetable. They didn't notice that my water glass was empty and I had to request it. Backless benches to sit in the tavern / bar, but you can request an uncomfortable chair. Not a place where you, like me, eat a lot of healthy protein and vegetables. I don't like leaving a restaurant where I feel bloated with too much food, but I don't want to go hungry either. The coffee was good after the meal."

"Sometimes it’s nice to find a beautiful eating/cafe experience in an industrial chic artisan and down to earth location such as Gowanus in Brooklyn … and Runner and Stone is such an experience. The food and ambience is pure art and simply DELICIOUS. My friend and I meandered over on a sunny late morning and stepped into a gourmet heaven. There’s a sandwich menu on the wall with lovely choices, a bar with pastries and various food items. There’s bread, coffee, coolers with salads and drinks … wine for sale … tables here and there. (Yes it is humane and there is a restroom). We were there for a quick lunch and chat and it was lovely seeing a steady stream of people getting items to go and shopping for gourmet grocery items. It seems like it has dinner too and would definitely like to try that real soon!Thank you Runner and Stone."

"This is the perfect spot for a Bushwick group to come together, work, and enjoy a wide selection of food from the menu, as well as wine and beer. The restaurant is very clean, with WiFi available Monday through Friday. Local artists' work adorns the walls, adding to the atmosphere. The service is exceptional and the food is delicious!"

"We came at 8am, when they were just taking the pastries out of the oven. We had a chocolate croissant, and a regular croissant. Both had the perfect texture (despite being a bit cold), with all the layers detaching easily, as it should be. Taste and depth of flavor could go from good to excellent if they used French butter, which I’m 80% sure is the main improvement point. Cappuccino was excellent"

"Wow soooo good. I got a chicken pesto sandwich and the bread was very fresh. The rest of it was amazing aswell. Exactly how pesto should be. I expected the restaurant to be cuter based on the online menu, but the food was so amazing it didn’t matter"

"I am an employee at Memorial Sloan Kettering Hospital across the street which provides this café with so much business every single day and not just from myself. They offer the employees a small discount however the cashier/manager refused to apply the discounts to two orders for two other employees and then I was told they are not legally even supposed to give us a discount without tax exempt papers, got 50 cents tossed at me to shut me up, and told that I am a problem every time I come in (which the only other time I said something was because he charged me $4 tax for toast with butter and that's just ridiculous for bread) for calling them out on the unfairness of the matter when we provide so much business to them. I did not create the discount and expect it to be applied to all employees. The manager is unprofessional, unfair, and this place is overpriced to the max as it is, for no reason. I will happily take my business elsewhere as they do not know how to appreciate and value their clientele. I have spoken to multiple employees and they also agree it was rude and unfair to the employees for him to conduct himself this way. Thank you for the few breakfast meals but I will not be back just as the manager requested that I do not."

"Fabulous place for food. We were in New York for 12 days and ate here very often both morning and evening. Excellent variety of food. Staff were very friendly. Good value, quick service, fantastic food would highly recommend Andrew's Coffee Shop. Thank you. 5* all round."

"Ordered a chopped cheese and a Philly cheese, only to be provided two identical sandwiches that were somewhat a mix of both, and neither was overall great unfortunately. The fries were also a bit meh, and they were served in a container that trapped all the heat and steam, so after a short travel the fries became soggy."

"The food at this restaurant was incredibly tasty. I tried the shrimp in white wine sauce and it was full of flavor. For starters, we had boneless chicken chicharrón and fried fish sticks that were delicious, and the accompanying sauces were perfect. The portion sizes were decent for a downtown spot. The music was very loud, especially since we were seated towards the front, so I can only imagine it was even louder towards the back near the bar. The songs played were a cool mix of old school and new school."
