"Hall Street Bakery should be considered an institution for this neighborhood. We live in the area and usually go at least once a week. Great breakfast, great lunch, great dinner, and great desserts. Can go for a quick bite or to sit with friends and get a couple of drinks. The staff is friendly and provide great recommendations and accommodations."

"Underwhelming is probably the best word to describe this place. The cookies we got were fine, the sandwiches were actually quite good, but what kills it is the terrible administration of this place. We waited for over 30 minutes for two sandwiches that were not even hot, only regular meat and cheese bread. They were not busy, in sight at many times during our extensive visit they had more employees at hand at the time customers. The table behind us ordered a pizza after we had done it and still got their food before us, but it sounds like they lost the order of the table next to us, which just stopped. Too bad they ask for tips (selection: 15, 18, 20 and 25 percent), if you order, before you? ve received any kind of service. Many potential, but bad execution in this place, would not recommend."

"I visited this bakery deli for the first time, and it was quite busy. However, the service was quick and friendly. The baked goods were excellent and brought back memories of the bakeries we loved in Germany. The deli had a great selection of sausages from our favorite spot in Baltimore, Binkerts. The parking situation is a bit limited, so if you can find a spot nearby and walk, that might be helpful."

"I enjoy The Boathouse, the food here is usually pretty good, but today the service was just abysmal. First off, usually on a quiet day, you can just walk up and usually be seated relatively quickly. But not today, the line just to talk to someone, RESERVATION OR NOT was about 15-20 minutes, with a line out of the door. This line alone should have been a sign to cut my losses and just leave, but instead I persisted giving The Boathouse the benefit of the doubt. I waited and waited some more, just to be told at the front desk that my 1 PM reservation was not ready yet and that they were still trying to seat people with 12:15/12:30 reservations. NOTE: I didn 't get to the desk until around 1:20/1:30 PM, so already about an hour behind. I was told that I will get a text when my table would be ready, I was fed up with waiting so I left. What 's the point in having a reservation if one, I have to wait in a line with people who don 't have a reservation and two have to wait even longer for my table to be ready well after my reservation time? It very much defeats the purpose of having a reservation, especially with the Disney app that can let you at some restaurants check in without having to talk to someone? On top of this, why was there no communication from the restaurant beforehand or while I was waiting in a long line to let me know hey we 're not going to be able to seat you at the time that we promised . All of this to say, Disney gets very busy, there are some issues from both a communication and operations standpoint that should definitely be looked at. All that had to be done to make today a little bit better was literally someone from the restaurant coming out and saying something along the lines If you don 't have a reservation, your estimated wait time will probably be around x hours AND OR If you have a reservation, we might not get to you at your reservation time just simple things to show that you care about your guest 's time. Maybe consider relying more on the app or having a separate area for those with reservations or without? Either way, super disappointed and it 's not fair to the frontline staff that were not being treated nicely by those who were understandably upset, that should be dealt with by management."

"I recently ordered my nephew's birthday cake from this amazing bakery and let me tell you, it was an absolute delight! From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with a warm smile and the sweet aroma of freshly baked goods. The cake was beautifully decorated with vibrant colors and the fondant topped it off.As soon as we cut into the cake, we were blown away by the moist and fluffy texture. "Flour is a bakery that serves a plethora of fresh ready made desserts drinks. They specialize in meringues, pies, cookies, and unique baked goods. There's a wide variety of sweets to pick from on the menu that cater to different people's tastes. It's located near the Boston University Medical Campus and Boston Medical Center. There is plenty of street parking nearby, and this location is the first of the chain in Massachusetts. When you walk in, there's a large menu you can pick from or a dessert case where you can see the treats that are available for purchase. The barista at the front was very nice! Additionally, the ambiance inside is very hipster, modern coffee shop/bakery. It's a perfect spot to hang out with a small group of friends or to lock in to study. There's plenty of small tables for indoor seating, so it's a great post-dinner spot. I ordered the Tcho chocolate cream pie, which was very decadent and flavorful. There was a good ratio of cream to pie filling to crust. I enjoyed it a lot! I would go back to try another dessert or drink on the menu and would recommend to someone looking for something sweet while in South End."

"Been here several times and have always had great service. Plenty of seating for laptop work or chatting with friends. Plenty of great desserts to choose from. Recently got a section of pound cake, it was perfect. The coffee is amazing and they have different kinds of milk to choose from (2%, whole, almond, etc). Very helpful. Best thing is the hours.
