"I ordered the gnocchi bolo and the cannoli because this was one of the only restaurants who sold gnocchi that was open in my area. The food arrived to my door in a bag sopping wet with the sauce because the container it came in was half closed. I asked for utensils too, nope. The gnocchi itself wasn?t that great, just picking it up it would fall apart. The piece of bread it came with was dry and hard."

"Hostess staff and overall ambiance of this restaurant could stand an upgrade given the hype and the menu prices. Host was squirrelly and unkept. Lighting is too bright. No candlelight on tables, harsh lighting and no music contribute to the lack of ambiance and explain why the customers on a Saturday evening are primarily senior citizens. That said, the crab avocado stack was very delicious. We were not impressed by the presentation or the taste of the chicken marsala or the chicken parmigiana. The fresh green beans were good. The highlight of the meal was the excellent dessert selection. The Death by Chocolate Cake and the Chocolate Cheesecake Bar were huge and absolutely fabulous!!!! With a few adjustments, this restaurant could be excellent."

"I love MPC!!! Began going when the original shop opened on Quentin road, then started to go to the Avenue S location. The owner and all staff are very friendly and the coffee is great. I'll also add that they have a great decaf iced latte (decaf anything that tastes good is so hard to find!"

"We had reservations for 700pm on a Saturday night and waited for quite a bit of time to be seated. The staff did a great job moving customers to a table as quickly as they could, served the waiting customers an appetizer and offered to serve drinks while we waited. There was an authentic attempt to be apologetic about the wait and to make the customers comfortable. We almost left, but so glad we did not. Once we were seated, the service was top notch. Our server was friendly and very accommodating. Food was equally excellent. Try their poblano meatballs and smoked wings as an appetizer-they are sure to please. If you arrive and the wait is a little long, it will be worth the wait!"

"Love Piece of Cake! I came across them via Uber Eats when we were in search of a tasty delivered dessert and OMG, I’m so happy I found them! Decadent deserts that will leave you satiated with leftovers and dreaming of the next one. The fantasy cake is divine! One small gesture that went very far for me I had a request to add a touch of raspberry sauce to my slice and as simple as that sounds, it feels like when you order delivered food you rarely have those request honored ...not with Piece of Cake! They gladly obliged and it absolutely made my night. Thanks for listening. Thanks for being awesome!"

"good places. Difficult parking out even just to walk (through their control, but it is worth mentioning) the eating here is really good and the prices are definitely fair. they tend to run too low when the evening goes on, but I guess it's not profitable to be wasted."

"(4.5/5) While visiting Chicago, I came across this restaurant by chance. Got 4 rib tacos for $14 and it was worth every cent. Each taco was overflowing with ingredients; They do NOT hold back. And the sauce that came with it was KILLER. If you like Mexican food, do NOT sleep on this holy s— !!!!!!"
