"Excellent service, some of the best drinks/cocktails, on average around 18-20 dollars a drink. Nice area in wonderful old town Scottsdale. The price for the food however did not match the quality: the sashimi combo was 5 pieces of fish, ginger and wasabi for $32, the steak and frites was not medium rare and the fries were very small. The grilled octopus was decent. Would only come back for the drinks if anything."

"First of all, the house dressing? UNBELIEVABLY GOOD. And I’ve never eaten anything from this place that wasn’t delicious (and I’ve been going for 10+ years). But I’m writing this review because of how well they handled my partner’s allergy. We often have problems when placing orders because we emphasize that he has an allergy to milk (not lactose intolerance, an actual allergy), and when we get they meal, 70% of the time they still gave us the milk/cheese. I wish I got her name, but the woman on the phone was so knowledgeable about the ingredients used and took so much care with double making sure with the cook in the back for what he used when we arrived to pick up the order. "Oh my goodness! How did I go for over ten years without trying a sandwich from this amazing restaurant?! We ordered the avocado club (no mayo) and the Italian cold cut with all the fixings, and oh my gosh! I can't even begin to describe how delicious these sandwiches are – they blew my mind! They made me so incredibly happy that I even found myself dancing while eating. And why not?! My heart is so full and happy now that I've paired them with some jalapeño kettle chips. I felt like I was in heaven for the 15 minutes it took me to devour half of the avocado club. These sandwiches are huge, so you can either share them or save some for later. Thank you so much! <3"

"If I could give this place more than 5 stars I would. This small middle eastern cafe style restaurant sits hidden in an unassuming street of the city. I practically had to walk up to see it, but once inside, the cozy decor and friendly staff made me feel right at home. I stopped by hummus kitchen half starved on the day of a snowstorm. The waitress, a friendly young vegan woman, rushed to bring me water and a cup of hot spiced cider to warm me up. The menu is an interactive affair presented on an iPad. It has a large variety of Turkish-style dishes. Vegan dishes are clearly labeled. For $17 one picks 3 dishes, such as hummus, babaganoush, falafel, etc and they come in generous portion with an amazing whole wheat pita bread that melts in your mouth. I mentioned I was half starved, so I ordered 6 dishes and could obviously not finish them (Leftovers for dinner were almost as good as lunch). The waitress, who was incredibly sweet and attentive throughout—recommending dishes, asking if I was enjoying the food or needed anything else—recommended this raspberry and coconut cream dessert. However, I was pretty full and am not a big fan of fruit compote type things, so I declined and asked for the check. As I was signing a young man, who I take to be the owner or manager, kindly asked me if I had three minutes to spare. When I replied that I did, he brought me out a dessert he said he wanted me to try. This was a generous portion of the most amazing chocolate mousse—all vegan—I have had in my life. It was topped with whipped cream and shredded coconut flakes. Pure ambrosia! My only regret: discovering this place on my last day in New York City. Absolutely amazing! Just the service makes it worth it. Highly recommend."

"Huge portions of each part is large enough to share for two people! If you order a main dish, the pasta on the page is large enough for a meal of itself. The chicken parmigiana is perfectly cooked and you have residues for a late evening snack. I also recommend the wedges very large satisfying and the staff is very nice to boot. "A great local restaurant. Food is very good and they’ll accommodate virtually any request, even off menu. They lose points for easily correctable items. 1 A surcharge was added for using a credit card. Not made known ahead of time. Not on menu, not on website, no sign noticed and were not told by wait staff. And we had a large party. 2. Wait staff inside was overburdened while those tending outdoors were standing around. Mismanaged. 3. Wait staff not properly trained. It’s a profession not just a job. Many mistakes and failures. Made for distraction. 4. Their requested dress code is meaningless. Some guests looked as if they just came in from yard work. Note these are fixable issues and a reflection on management. Will likely go back but not with more than one guest until they improve service issues. Would have given 3+ stars if had the choice but rounded up."

"The staff was very friendly, and made a good effort to get a seated reasonably on time for a show that evening. We ordered an appetizer , grilled octopus, which was tasty, not amazing because it was chopped w lots of filler . Unfortunately both dinner entrees were mediocre. My stuffed lobster tail was tiny with 1 tablespoon of stuffing. The lobster was undercooked. my husband’s veal was slightly over cooked. My vegetables were hard and undercooked. the linguine was done well. Disappointing."

"This visit was the second of my family, and it was as pleasant as our first. Our waiter Arturo was friendly and attentive. We will definitely return. If I had a complaint, I and my husband do not eat red meat, and 95% of their meat is for red meat lovers. Even their chicken eaters are usually all wrapped in bacon. They even filled "bacon-wrapped" jalapeños. However, you can order lobster for an additional fee. My husband, whom I just stuck with the wonderful salad bar that was more than satisfying... while the rest of the family was overloaded on red meat. So we were all very happy and full when we were gone. NOTE: Deserts are not baked in the price as it is at Texas de Brazil."

"We were guests in the hotel, so we patronized a few times. Once for dinner. The chicken was wonderful. My husband refuses to eat any pickled item, and he love the cucumbers! Our waiter was so friendly, just loved him! We were in the lounge a few times during our stay. One waiter was a bit curt, but was prompt. Another bartender was fantastic, so friendly to everyone in our group. Was nice to sit in the air conditioning while it was so hot during our stay and just watch the people pass as we enjoyed our drinks."
