"We checked in for dinner a little early (5:20 with a dinner reservation for 5:30) and were told they were cleaning tables and to just wait a few minutes and they would seat us. About 10 minutes goes by and they continue to seat people, I ask another host about our table and she says we will call you in a little bit. We wait about another 10-15 minutes all the while they continue to seat people, a couple comes in and checks in for their 5:30 reservation (late) and THEY GET SEATED! So now I go up to the host's stand and ask why they were seated before us, another hostess says we texted your number and you didn't respond. So I say you never told me you would text me, they then seated us and dinner was great and our waitress was great. I don't know what the mix up was at the host stand and yes they get very crowded for dinner but I'm still unsure as to why we were made to wait while they sat people and had open tables then to seat someone, who came late, before me! Then to not even acknowledge that they screwed up and only to say we texted you, so for that I would not recommend Maggiano's at Old Orchard and as of now I will no longer eat at that Maggiano's."
