"When John was hired as manager , he established a well run eatery with great food and a stellar staff. Things were a Little off tonight. We were a few minutes late and when I called, the hostess, who was new to us was rude, asking us why we were coming when I had cancelled the reservation. The entire conversation was unsatisfactory and a restaurant cannot succeed with such a person as point of contact. Our starters were terrific , the chopped salad and my wife’s clams. The entree, a chicken dish, was very tender and cooked well. However, despite being advertised as being stuffed, none was apparent. The food runner didn’t consider it his job to clear away dirty dishes so they were stacked up until the server returned. We are regulars and certainly intend to return again as we have e joyed many fine meals here."
