"Only through mixed reviews online and comprehensible by colleagues. Nice surprise. The food was excellent overall. Execution was great, spices were almost there (steaks and fish needed more salt) but the vegetables were seasoned and perfectly cooked. The mushrooms had some sweetness, possibly a balsamic glaze (not my favorite) but this is my personal taste. Cocktail sauce wasn't what I expected... it was better! The only one left was the stale chocolate cake (server admitted that it is a purchased product) and for $17, they could have put more love in the fruit plate. Will definitely be back. Much better than some of the other best steak houses on a long island that were really disappointing. I have to say that walking on a weekend or a holiday like Valentine's Day or Mother's Day, where the staff is usually overwhelmed and simply through the movements to get the food out is not the best time to be critical. In these chaotic cripples, few restaurants can keep their own. I chose Thursday; the product has probably arrived only for the weekend nice and fresh (except for the aged steaks of course) and the staff is attentive and ready. If you 're gonna check a restaurant, give them a fair opportunuty to serve you properly, and you will likely be satisfied."
