"These tacos were incredible. I had crispy tripe, lengua, and carnitas. I ordered the carnitas on the crunchy American style taco. It was so so crunchy!!! I loved the texture. It’s unlike anything I’ve experienced in Texas. The tripe was cooked perfectly to melt in your mouth. The orange sauce was delicious, spicy, and flavorful. I can’t wait to come back and try more items on the menu. My partner had the chicken tacos which were incredibly flavorful. My only complaint is they were a tiny bit dry, but the flavor was so good it didn’t matter. If you go, definitely try at least one crunchy American style taco. 5 tacos and a glass coke were $22. Great lunch for you and a friend."

"this is our first time here and the birria tacos were absolutely delicious! they never had before and completely different from your regular taco. the Steak-Taco was just okay and maybe on another day it would have been better, but after the birrie attempt there is no comparison. the salsa and chips were very good, especially because the chips were homemade very light and crispy and went perfectly with the guacamole. we ordered rice with the tacos that is their standard Mexican rice and goes well with tacos. Finally, it is worth noting that these are quite big tacos for their money. I ordered three, but only could eat two of them tomorrow! keep the great work up and I will be back soon!"

"Great food, great value and very clean. Two large Chili Rellanos, perfect rice and beans, small salad and five corn tortillas for $8. I just had the leftovers for lunch. Rolls Chicken Tacos (biggest I?ve ever seen) combi plate for $8. We still eat them today. Update: finally a chance to come back a few days ago and this time we brought our granddaughter. I have the same Chile Rellano combination plate, now $10, and we shared this with an order of rice and beans. It couldn't stop anything yet. We came a little early for lunch and had to face ourselves. When we left the place, he was full. Plenty of parking behind the building or parking directly next door."

"During a visit to NC I was lucky to stop and inspire! El Pastor here! It's primo bellisimo! Peppy pineapple taste and with a nice kick. So delicious and perfect texture. Friendly staff, great prices. Yum City! Enjoy it when you live nearby! When I returned to NY, I realized that Tortilleria Y Taqueria Leon is special. Her el pastor Queensadilla has so brilliant taste that they do not drown in yucky tasteless queso/cheese as they are up here in the north. Instead, they only put the right combination of cheese to meat. Yowza!"
