"So my first impression of the place is that it is not very special and I 've been to other cantina 's that seemed more fancy or upscale. Once we got inside, we were greeted by a host (I presume). Who led us to the bar, although we reserved a table for two inside. When, I asked him about the table that was right in front of us and empty he stated that was reserved for someone else. Well, we ended up sitting at the bar. The bartender gives us the regular menu and not the one meant for restaurant week. We look at it confused and then when he came back, I explained that I saw a different menu for restaurant week so he brings that one. He made sure to get a paper and a pen to take down our order. We ordered the same items but different deserts. We got complimentary nachos, in addition to the ones we ordered. That was nice but those nachos weren 't as good as the ones we ordered as the actual appetizer. The entrée we ordered was the red snapper, which looked appetizing. Though, it wasn 't seasoned well and the sauce (chimichurri, I think) on the side with the two pieces of avocado was not enough for the piece of fish. I felt like the corn, avocado and sauce were just there as a decoration but were missing something to tie them in together as a dish. When it came time for deserts, we got an extra tres leches cake although. We thought we had a choice to get either the mangonada or tres leches. The bartender stated that we get the cake anyway but looking at the menu it clearly says OR I don 't have a problem with the extra desert per say, but I am pretty sure they ended up charging for an extra desert. Besides that, the mangonada was delicious. I don 't like tres leches so I didn 't try it but my date said it was okay. Overall, the food is okay, and the atmosphere is chill. In my opinion, the menu items are over priced so I wouldn 't order food here on a regular day but I might come back to try the drinks everyone around us was having."
