"The big guy with glasses always got some sort of attitude when it’s busy and I find him quite rude… I feel attacked and uncomfortable to be honest, it’s either him the owner son or the other Puerto Rican chubby dude The pizza is overall okay when it’s fresh depending who attends you.. "What made this dining experience even better was the fact that the restaurant offered its full menu on a holiday. Many places tend to offer a limited selection and raise prices during holidays, but this restaurant maintained its usual variety and pricing. We opted for a late dinner at 3:00 PM to avoid the crowds, and the service was impeccable. We will definitely be returning in the future."

"Mrs. Mac’s Kitchen II is pretty much legendary in South Florida and a wonderful place to pull off the side of the road for a slice of their award winning Key Lime Pie. We stopped by for lunch on our way to Key Largo after reading the great reviews. The hand painted slogan on the outside of the building was a welcomed sight Eat well, laugh often, live long! The parking lot was packed, as was the restaurant, but we were welcomed in and seated within a few minutes. The kitschy and eclectic design was everything you’d hope for from a small island diner: a hand blown glass Octopus chandelier, nautical themed fishing equipment, ceiling panels that resembled the open sky, palm trees, seashells, fish window decals, license plate lamp covers and an oversized bar, surrounded in bar stools, anchored in the center of the restaurant. Even the shell themed bathroom sink and pirate’s themed wall hanging in the hall added to the overall appeal. I was very happy to find Vegetarian plates, as well as a few Vegan options and the teenager and husband were excited about the seafood. We selected our meals from the lunch menu which runs from 11:00 5:00 Monday through Saturday. I chose the Veggie Saucer a Pita bread sandwich with two different slices of cheese, cucumbers, lettuce, tomato’s, onions, mayo, arugula and special sauce. The sandwiches include pickle slices and your choice of ruffled chips, slaw or cottage fries. My husband ordered a Fried Oyster Dockside sandwich served on a hoagie with shredded lettuce, tomato’s pickle slices and an upgraded side of fried pickles. The teen ordered Coconut Shrimp and left nothing on the plate but the Shrimp tails! The Key Lime Pie was everything we’d hoped for and the perfect way to end our meal! Pros: Large menu including something for everyone seafood lovers, picky eaters, kids, vegetarians and vegans. The hostess and servers were very welcoming and attentive. The decor and ambiance is exactly what you’d imagine a small island diner could be! Cons: Small parking lot and very busy during peak hours, but we’ll worth the wait!"

"We are unbelievably impressed with our recent experience we had with East Bay. Due to COVID, we had to cancel our big wedding reception but chose to have a formal dinner at East Bay with a small number of family and friends. This was one of the best choices we made! From the very beginning Kelly, the event planner, was responsive and helpful with making everything come together. She answered all of our questions and was very organized. The night of our event was seamless and everyone had the best time. The staff was friendly, accommodating, and provided excellent service. We absolutely loved our waitress, Cheryl K! The food was amazing, and they did their very best to ensure our event felt special even with all of the COVID restrictions in place. We would highly recommend East Bay for any special event."

"Went here for Mother’s Day. I am not an individual who would usually complain or go out of their way to say something. But the food and overall experience was so terrible I just have to share it. I ordered a French dip sandwich and the meat was practically inedible, I also received a soup for the second half of my meal which you can see from the picture, was an absolute joke. I mentioned the soup to my waiter (French onion soup) and told him how it was just a bunch of bread. He advised that it looked horrible and would discount my bill. They only took $1 off my bill, which is honestly more insulting then not doing anything at all. In addition they forgot the salad my mom ordered and paid price for everything (minus 1 dollar). No one in my party liked their food or even came close to finishing it. Would never recommend anyone to eat here based on this experience."

"Calamari was over fried like a previous review said. Luckily we were able to remove it off our tab. Santa Margarita pizza was a bit salty from the cheese. I walked around with my toddler and asked a server if every table received bread. Then manager gave our table it during second course. Waters were empty most of the time. Tons of take out orders. Husband said he would come back for pastas."

"We just ordered from here for the first time. Our order: the three cheeseburger sliders and a cheese steak. We live about 25 mins away and we were testing out this place for an upcoming party we are having in the area to see if they would be good to order our party food from. Well the answer is no. The sliders were decent but the meat was a bit overcooked, dry and tasteless. The curly fries were good but a bit old tasting. If they were fresh they would have been awesome. The cheese steak, well it wasn't really a cheese steak, it was more of a salad with meat which isn't what we ordered. Since we don't live that close it wasn't worth our time trying to get a new order made and we ended up ordering a cheese steak from our local place in town. So for our first experience, it didn't go well and we won't be trying them again."

"Food and ambiance is great here. One issue is their booths are too far from the table in front of you. The service also could use a lot of work. Very nonchalant server, but she was nice. It was my friend’s birthday so they brought him churros with a candle, but no lighter and did not light it for us and it was extremely difficult to track anyone down to light it for us. They also only did valet even though it was an open lot and we wanted change back and he claimed he didn’t have any."
