"Always an issue. Been here 3 times since June 2022. 1st time I waited in line for what felt like forever until it was my turn to order only to find out it's cash only. 2nd time went pretty speedy but was served regular and not the spicy chicken we hadordered and they left off the 3 orders of chocolate beignets only to find out none of them made it home with us, 20 minutesaway. I called several times but each time was a busy signal. 3rd time the food was what we ordered but waited over 10 minutesafter ordering before our food was ready."

"This restaurant is the worst place to eat at. I am a diabetic and ordered the blackened chicken tenders, but received regular tenders instead. After informing them of the mistake, I had to wait 10 minutes for my food, which was overly seasoned to the point where it was inedible. Even after trying to scrape off the seasoning, it was still too spicy. My husband refused to eat it as well. When I called back to request a new order, they were uncooperative. Avoid this place if you want good food, as even gas station hotdogs would have been a better choice."

"The new mac and cheese is pretty decent. Very smooth and creamy. As always, their spicy chicken and their spicy sandwich is pretty dang great in their nostalgic sense. Yeah, sure, better fried chicken does exist, but Popeyes chicken is a solid B+ as far as bigger fast food chains go, and that unless they somehow burn it or are missing stuff from your order, you won't be disappointed. Improvements with the app have been made, perk points are nice to get a free thing every now and then. Customer service there is perfectly fine and good."

"ordered the family speciality tonight for $32.00, but the manager has not met about the weekly special for the same thing for $22.00 minus a piece of ****. very disappointed. bad customer service. I'm not going there anymore. this time when I ordered, I asked to replace another page for the cookies I never ate. the young lady (cashier) told me that she could not replace anything for the cookies, because it was a special, $29.99, family meal. that didn't make any sense at all. I always ask to replace another page for the cookies, and no one has ever refuted my question. eating is eating and $29.00 is a lot of money for bad customer service. I'm not coming back here. "Absolutely Terrible service time and time again….1. We waited in the drive thru for 15 mins after placing our order behind a vehicle at the window (who was waiting longer than we did)2. We pulled out of the drive thru and went in to find out the hold up was over them being out of spicy chicken… ok but why weren’t we told that when we ordered?3. While inside the restaurant the employees seemed to not have a care in the world! Totally oblivious to the line of cars out there driveway and people not getting food. They were too busy (I kid you not) stacking ranch packets…4. We finally get home to eat to find out that they forgot the Mac n cheese with the kids meal…This isn’t the most egregious example I know. This is my first time posting a review but this has happened time and time again… and I keep going back every month or so… out of the love for Popeyes… to find the same terrible service and quality of food. every single 1 star review on here is 100% spot on! All of those things have happened to either me or my fiancé. There’s a pretty common trend there… The 5 star reviews are bots or paid for no cap ?"

"I would like to share for today at this location, 1790 W Algonquin Rd,. My. Prospect, IL. I wanted to have good food for today so I decided to try with other Popeyes location and this time was Awesome! The food (Tenders) and Cajun Fries and the service was great too. Mrs. Eva (Manager) took order for me and she is kind and knows what she’s doing. And I like to share for another customer who was picking mobile order while I am waiting for my food. When the customer came for pick-up, the Manager checked the receipt again before customer leaves and she found out the missing item and checked the order if all included so customer didn’t miss anything. I would give out more stars if possible. Thank you so much for the great food today!! I would definitely come this place again and will introduce to others as well."

"100% vote with everyone? a star? Review!!! We were the only customers in the restaurant. 1. noted that there was so cold in the restaurant there was no possibility that a person could eat there an order with our shimmer! I think it was now that I think you wouldn't stay there. 1:08 pm and 3 persons who travel through and through the dinning room. The kitchen is run from the end of 60?s to 70?s man. He watched him and he wasn't up!! Excellent worker. A woman who was driving was also busy. The young lady who works in the dining room could have kept less. Asked for our order. We gave it. She made a mistake and asks us to check our order. We did. Then five minutes later we got our food. Our car to eat and my wife order for 3 sharp offers was a chest and thighs. She took it back and the young lady told my wife that she should have specified!!! She didn't read the order she took 5 minutes ago. Ticket said 3 sharp offers!!! My wife was trying to flash the receipt to her and ask why didn't you put the ticket in my box? But she didn't. That's how the lesson learned. NOT EAT THIS RESTAURANT until the company or franchise owners have a serious look at their Google rating! I wish we had!!!"

"I purchase 2 -3 piece chicken boxes and three biscuits come with the chicken. After driving 24 minutes home all the chicken was hard as a rock and dry as sand. The biscuits Texture was like rubber. I have ate at Popeyes chicken at least once a week in Warrenton VA And have never had this problem until I decided to travel to Culpeper for our take out… WHAT A DISASTER!!!
