A savory pizza topped with spicy pepperoni slices and melted cheese on a crispy crust.

"The service was out of this world, very attentive and friendly, just overall on top of things! In addition to the phenomenal service, the food was fantastic. The Seattle classic burger and King Salmon pasta are easy recommendations, 10/10"

"Terrible service. Waited an hour to get food. Kitchen lost order from bar. No servers. Long wait in bar line to rectify food service. Ambience was the highlight."

"Really wonderful Italian place right at Ocean Park, especially if you are looking for pizza! The pizzas were very delicious- great crust and toppings not too oily...."

"After I made it on dimo’s pizza, I decided to give roots a shot. the owners have a few other restaurants that contain vegan options, so I thought this was also the case for pizza, and I was not disappointed. When I first went, I built my own pizza with red sauce, mushrooms, wobble and sour wort (even dug: the Pierogi pizza). in contrast to many pizza places they weren't sneaked on the beats! the variety of veggie/fruit toppings as well as some unique makes this place highlight definitiw. the second time I left, the staff informed me that they had a vegan. I have no idea why they do not include it in the menu. I prefer my pizzas generally without the cheese, but if they can list 18 meats and 12 cheeses, I don't see why the vegan option should be so hush hush. edit: it looks like they finally have a vegan option included in the menu! although they still don't have the vegan cheese on the build their own menu, at least people in the position to know that they only ask. vegan specially spiced floor side by side, vegan ranch, vegan cheddar, vegan mozzarella, crushed romaine, cubed pickles and cubed tomatoes. updated by previous review on 2017 05 10"

"Amazing food, amazing service, amazing owners The food is a little hipster but delicious! Do not let the ingredients scare you. If so, you can ask for something on the page or ask the server for more details. If you are brave, you can roll the cubes with a salad, pizza, burger or Mac cheese, where the bite kitchen creates an off-menu masterpiece for you. The pizzas and nachos are fun to share and too big, not too big. I'm going to dinner is the Chad 's Big Boy Burger. I don't drink alcohol, but I enjoyed a cocktail with family and it was delicious! I really appreciate how this business treats the security policies of COVID-19. I feel that they have made their cartridges and employees as safe as possible. They still maintain safe and clean facilities and have take-out. Please continue amazing!"

"Just a brief review. Our reservations were for a Saturday night at 6:30. We were greeted and seated timely, and our drinks came out on time and well made. The salads were fine. The entrees arrived, and that 's where things broke down. A steak ordered medium plus arrived cooked to old saddle leather. The waitress offered to replace it with the ominous warning that it could take a while, we 're getting busy. My wife made a game attempt at eating what was served, but its food value had long expired, so it was left mostly uneaten. A glass of wine ordered to be enjoyed with the entree arrived with the now complementary and long delayed dessert. By the time the check arrived, we felt as if we had been held hostage in a bad Denny 's. Remembering that one is in Okoboji in the off-season, Waters Edge Grille is a perfectly adequate restaurant. However, well-run establishments don 't overwhelm their kitchens and their wait staffs. They limit their reservations to match their capacity. Further, well-run establishments know how to remedy a kitchen error with alacrity."

"On weekends for lunch in late November stopped and a quiet table with a breathtaking view of the lake and snowy mountains. The French diving sandwich was delicious, with creamy horseradish with the rich thin slices of beef and one side crispy broken frits. The mahi tacos were not quite so impressive (with missing three-colour chips), but the pineapple salsa was fresh and bright. The service was fast and friendly, carefully revitalized with dishes and filled with water glasses. Overall, it was a winning experience. Nice location, delicious food at a good price, and Snappy service."

"Overall the experience was good. However for the price point we definitely left disappointed. We ordered a charcuterie board and a wine flight unfortunately our server was either too busy or not knowledgeable enough to explain what we were being served. When he brought our wine he didn't tell us what wine from the wine flight was being served and when he delivered our charcuterie board we were able to tell what most things were but a few unfamiliar cheeses and meats were presented and it would have been nice to know what was what. Usually when we go to more expensive restaurants the server informs us about the dish and wines. Tables were crowded together and you could hear everyone else talking so it was extremely loud. For the experience and service you'd save money eating at the olive garden and for the price point you might as well go to the melting pot and have superb service and a romantic atmosphere. The atmosphere felt more like an Applebee's. And our server seemed stretched to thin to give us the quality of service we were expecting for $120 for 2 people not including tip. Food was good, but the experience was lacking."

"We dined on a Sunday night and our party of five was delighted for find an open restaurant somewhat near the Pyramid. Our spinach salads were very good as were the wood-fired pizzas. Our waitress was attentive and friendly. Parking in an adjacent specified lot was perfect!"

"This was the first stop of our night out with family and friends, ranging in age from 1 to 80 years old. It was an early dinner and then on to the Botanical Gardens for the holiday light show so we weren’t on a deadline. Good thing, too… we arrived at Shells Sauce at 3:30pm and due to the extreme delay between ordering and then the food arriving at our table; and again after having finished and finally receiving our bill; the experience took two full hours, start to finish. Other than that, it was fantastic. We were warmly welcomed at the door by a gentleman we originally mistook for another patron (since he was wearing a coat and hat), the menu had something for everyone (including the vegetarian, the carnivore and the baby), the food was fantastic and the mood was festive (took awhile for us to catch on that the servers were participating in an Ugliest Holiday Sweater contest with each other). I’ll be back!"

"We had a reservation and also had noted it was our anniversary. The host barely acknowledged our presence let alone the reservation or occasion. He sat us without talking or making eye contact. Our waitress wasn't interested either. She didn't explain the specials and then our app and entree came one right after the other. We barely had a time to enjoy a sip of our cocktails. A runner delivered them and we didn't see her again until it was time for the bill. When she then asked us what we had so she could tally the bill. The whole process was maximum 50 minutes. I'm not sure anyone even noticed that we left. It was odd and a disappointment."

"We went to brunch on Easter Sunday and it was... okay. The mimosa flight would have been great if the champagne hadn't been flat. When we chased down the server (my father's coffee was long empty), there was no sense to ask for a do-over. I told the Bacon Benedict what was okay, I asked about the bacon sriracha hollandaise and they forgot, but the ash browns were closer to the consistency of potatoes. My father had to explain to the server what sunny side was above and he also got mushy hash Browns. I had good meals here, but that was dinner and bar food. In any case, no place I would recommend for Brunch."

"Worse mail ever..started with a cosmo served in a oz. Martini glass filled to almost an inch from top for we tried an appetizer special .Short ribs pretzel bites..Disgusting!! Deep fried pretzel pieces served in a stuck together mound of cheese..Complained about cosmo..got a new one this time totally different color filled again well short of full. At this point asked for mgr...never came over to us. Next main courses came salmon dish was ok..but NE Haddock was terrible way overcooked, dry and sweet potatoes were cold. The presentation was laughable, served on a plain white plate.. its quite obvious this restaurant is badly in need of new management, new chef and knowledgeable bartenders. All this. For for wished we had gone to Chik fil a .Don't waste a dime her"
