"While the server tried to offer his opinions on suggestions, he honestly couldn't, due to his preference on drinks and not trying some of the food offerings. The prices are a little high, considering your portion size. I would not suggest the steak to anyone. There was a lot of fat that could have been trimmed prior to reaching the table. A $40 dollar steak should have been trimmed better. The meal was aesthetically pleasing, but everyone knows, looks are a small portion of the entire dinning experience."

"I am sorry to have to say how disappointed I was in Sam 's. Touted as a Lewiston landmark, I was turned off the moment I entered the door. It took almost five minutes to be served as I stood at the counter while the staff chatted in the back. On Wednesday, I decided I would order the special of the day a bucket of Spaghetti for fun. At $8.69 for meat sauce I looked for something with substance, rather than a plain Marinara. The meal was to come with Italian Bread, and the counter person pointed to a loaf of cold sliced bread on a shelf. I asked if there was perhaps the option of having it warmed as we were eating in their dining room , and he said no. I countered by asking if it was possible to have their garlic bread instead, and he pointed out that it would cost extra. Well, that perhaps sounded fair as I was asking to substitute; so he took back the large loaf of cold bread and gave me four small slices of overdone garlic bread about a fourth of the size of the loaf and charged me the extra amount. If this restaurant is Lewiston 's Pride , well then I suppose it would be worth going elsewhere. As we were dining in, I rather expected better service and a much better, and fresher product."

"The food was just decadent, friendly staff. Just took a while for the waiters to check on us and get extra drinks as we needed refills. Also, their fountain drinks were extremely flat. No bubbles in the seltzer or sodas which left us with not so great cocktails. The neon sign, was super cute but no where to take a picture since diners sat underneath and ate. Overall, good experience, super cute date night spot and the food and portions were perfect. Some items were a little salty also so caution the waiter when ordering."

"Great place to watch sports (probably over a dozen TVs in a relatively small place). Food was good, definitely want to come back for their brunch!! Would recommend the boneless buffalo tenders, these were our favorite thing!! Also pictured is the French dip sandwich and fish tacos. Not sure why it?s not mentioned more, but this place is very affordable compared to other restaurants in the same vicinity. Also, beer selection is amazing! Good mix of local craft beer and the ones your familiar with."

"I drove to Pinecrest Bakery with my wife and child when we were feeling hungry. My wife ordered the Flan cheesecake, I got a vanilla cake, and my daughter chose a traditional Cuban steak sandwich. Unfortunately, my daughter's sandwich was just okay, but the cakes my wife and I ordered were extremely hard and seemed old. The bakery gave us plastic utensils, but the forks were so flimsy that they bent when we tried to cut into the cakes. I would not recommend this bakery, as the baked goods seemed stale and past their expiration date."

"I wanted to find a new place to eat with the family. The food was delicious I got the chicken Pesto Panini and my husband got the chicken cheese steak with bacon added and the children portions are good and the cheeseburger was the size of our sons head. Friendly staff and delicious fresh food would be highly recommended and we will go back to try other things!"

"This place is absolutely amazing. I was here a good number of times and the place consistently over appearances. The food is great and very fast. The menu is also very large, which you could assume might cause problems with speed and quality - but it does not. You also have a small Koi fish pond outside, which is nice to sit and take photos. I think every city has a small local burger place and this is certainly it for La Puente. It's great!"

"Went sat before a game. They invited Fans from the opposing team. Not sure I’d they didn’t anticipate the crowds but they seemed overwhelmed. However, it was a festive occasion and no one seemed to be too out off by it. We didn’t not order a meal but the pizza smelled an looked delicious! Had loaded potato wedges which were good. "This has got to be the BEST pizza around. We accidentally found this gem while visiting the nearby ice rink. Just a hungry family looking for something quick to take home. OMG! "I am surprised to see the low rating here. I have to admit when we eat here we usually eat appetizer-ish, like raw oysters, shrimp etc and really like it! Being big fans of restaurant week we decided to give them a try on real food as the menu options were so compelling. We did have a service issue regarding our wine order and when we got out bill and the wine was not on there we flagged down the manager. She did actually comp us the bottle of wine. When we dine out we do not expect anything for free, rather we just want it right.
