"This was one of the best pre-fixe menus and Christmas dinners my partner and I have had. Excellent menu, food spectacular, staff very professional and kind, and overall simply elegant and wonderful experience. We did the Christmas Eve Feast of the Seven Fishes 5 course fixed menu which was $125 per person, with the $70 wine pairing. I don't usually go for the wine pairing, but with this and all the dishes being so spectacular and bursting with flavor I HIGHLY recommend getting the paring which comes with every dish. Very knowledgeable and excellent sommelier. He truly brought out the flavor of the wine and the dish. I would go there again 1000%. There is a coat check as well so you are not cluttered at your table. Great location conveniently right outside of Times Square so it was great for our NYC Christmas trip. They also have a semi-private table with sliding privacy doors if desired for larger parties that is in the middle of the restaurant which is nice not to be secluded. Also there is a bar or bar tables if you prefer that to the traditional dining area. DEFINITELY make this restaurant part of your NYC trip. 5 star review all around for everything."

"We had a great time at Cobalt. The food is delicious and the portion sizes are good for the high prices they charge hence the stars for value. That said, the wine markup is super ridiculous, so we likely will come back for meals with friends who drink less : (a delicious Sancerre on the menu for $125 can be bought in a store for $24.99 . Food recos Foie Gras app, Caviar app, scallop entree, and my dining companions shared that the Lamb and the mac cheese dishes were also noteworthy. Our server, Nikki was awesome friendly, super knowledgeable and attentive. My dining companions were a little put off by the larger service support, or lack thereof, in that for the type of restaurant and the price point, they expected Nikki's support staff to be a lot more visible (we had to ask for napkins and flatware after getting our first food item, when the tables are typically set before seating , and we ordered 2 plates that we stated would be split between 2 of us, and we would have expected the kitchen to plate the split. When the food runner brought the single plate, we even had to ask for extra dishes to split it ourselves. these are minor things, and we just reset our expectations that while the prices may be high, the vibe is still pretty casual. Great views on the outdoor seating area, and nice ambiance, and they are good with kiddos too (crayons and coloring sheets, and a kids menu . We will be back!"

"They have a vegan and gluten free menu but there’s only like 2 vegan options. I ordered an açaí bowl but the waitress looked at me like she’s never heard that before and immediately said they don’t have it. Then when I told her I was vegan she kept offering me yogurt with fruit or some eggs and bacon. In the end I got the tofu scrambler which wasn’t that bad but wasn’t the best either."

"Excellent services. We were a party of 16 adults and 2 children, our main waiter Ben was professional, considerate, expedient and efficient. The other two staff were also very helpful. This is a restaurant in general is casual and family oriented. The food was delicious, some of our favorites were the hot Nashville chicken, it was tender, crispy the right amount of spice. "we had a great dinner in ciclo! our waiter denis was so friendly, friendly and attentive. he went out several times to make sure we had everything we needed and to make our dinner special. we ordered the mais empanadas and homebrot as appetizers and both were delicious. for our later courses we ordered the chicken, the beet salad, the butternut cheese soup. the food performance and taste were excellent for them all. I highly recommend ciclo to dinner and if they go they need to ask for denis to make their night really special!"
