"I've been going to this place for a long time and I order the same thing Caesar wrap no meat or Mediterranean wrap no meat. The food at this place is very good but today was not good at all.I ordered the usual Caesar wrap no meat with avocado, the lady who took my order repeated my order back to me when I went to pick up the food the receipt said my order. when I paid for my food and took it back to my car I started to eat it and to my shock there was chunks of chicken in it that caused me to be nauseous because I do not eat meat, poultry, pork,beef non of that I was very upset. I went back in and spoke to the ladies at the desk about the error that the cooks who prepared the food made. I spoke loud enough where the cooks can hear me I expressed that they have to be careful when preparing individuals food because there are vegetarians, vegans and those who can be allergic to some type of food. Today was not a good day at that place.I would like to add that the ladies at the front did nothing wrong they were very apologetic."

"I usually get a smoothie? Gurke, apple, pineapple, ginger?. Quick and friendly. concerns about customers. The place is very clean, has AC and has seating. Has many healthy foods from salads to burgers and pizzas that are gluten-free. I went about lunchtime. Not many places to park, but it looks like they are on some delivery apps like Doordash. Come back. Photos next visit."

"Be careful here, i bought a smoothie and you know how they ask for tips, well if you don't tip, their staff will just add one on anyway.Checked my statement and their staff member added a 22% tip for himself, my apple pay receipt is $7.80 but i was charged $9.51.If you ever ate here double check your receipts, im sure its been happening a while"

"Was hesitant to try Playa Bowls because the photos on the Door Dash website makes the servings look small for the price. Turns out those pics are deceptive. Not only was my order large and satisfying, it was delicious! To be honest, I've only had the California Poke Bowl, but the ingredients were fresh, visually appealing, and there was no skimping, i.e. there wasn't just a ton of rice with a few veggies thrown on. Am so pleased, Playa Bowls is now my favorite restaurant in State College and I look forward to trying their other bowls."

However, the hours change frequently and half the time I have ordered Playa Bowls during their regular hours (morning, afternoon), the store is closed without warning. "There are many smoothie bowl options available at this restaurant. You have the choice to mix half acai and half pitaya if you're having trouble deciding. All menu items can be made vegan, and the staff is knowledgeable about vegan options. Each bowl costs around $10, and includes delicious granola. The serving size is average but slightly on the smaller side. The bases for the bowls are premade so they're not freshly blended, but they are served quickly. The staff is friendly and efficient."

"Stopped in here for the first time with a friend, I’m always excited to see more places to eat with vegan options! They had a good selection of bowls to choose from, I wish I’d known every bowl comes with açaí at the bottom as I’d never eaten that before. Thankfully it didn’t taste bad with the option I got which was granola, bananas, Nutella and peanut butter. I might give it a try again sometime."
